Windows Server 2003
My outlook webaccess on windows server 2003 is not working?
My outlook web access is not working on windows server 2003. I have tried to connect to it using the IP address of the exchange server but anything is working. From my understanding the web access comes activated by default on the windows 2003.
Thanx 4 your help in advance.
I know this is really a dumb question, but are you running Microsoft Exchange on this server?
Outlook Web Access is not a component of Windows Server 2003. It is a component of Microsoft Exchange. And yes, if you have Exchange configured and running, you should be able to access OWA internally without any problems.
Please provide more details
How to configuration DHCP on Windows Server 2003 to provide different gateway to different user?
My network has 2 internet gateway. I want to provide automatically this gateway to this user group and the other gateway to the other user group. How can I do it by using DHCP in Windows 2003/XP?
Could be done with Reservations, I think. You'd need a separate scope since the gateway is the same within a single scope and subnet.
The surest way would be to use another network segment and a second NIC in the server.
That way the physical connection that the clients talk to would always be the right one for that part of the network and always get the correct gateway since the broadcast traffic would never reach NIC1.
You could use the Server's NICs as a bridge or route between them, depending on how much (if at all?) the computers on the different gateway groups need to talk to each OTHER.
Something to think about...
How do I create an automated way to back up a directory every night for 30 days on windows server 2003 ?
How do I create an automated way to back up a specific directory onto an external hard drive every night for 30 days (without overwriting the previous backup from the night before!) on windows server 2003 ?
The easiest way of doing it is to create a batch file that does the backup copy process and run it through the task scheduler. Go to control panel, Scheduled Tasks, and create the task to open the batch file. Another option would be to run the Windows backup wizard from that same Task Scheduler. Since you want it to recreate a new copy every night I would recommend to create the batch file to do it for you pragmatically.
Hope this helps some
How to enable multiple RDP sessions in windows 2008 server as Windows server 2003 as that.?
If i connect Windows 2008 Server through RDP for full desktop, orginal session is getting logged off.. As they were three different sessions in windows 2003 server
Make sure you are logging in with DIFFERENT accounts. You should get the two admin sessions plus one console without having to license terminal services.
