How to take off internet security website when opening internet explorer?
I have McAfee, but everytime I open internet explorer this internet security website opens the McAfee site advisor turns red, I tried changing the home page to yahoo, but it doesn't work. How do I take this off?
Do you get pop-up advertisements when your browser is not running or when your system is not even connected to the Internet?
When you start your browser, has the home page has changed to something undesirable?
Do you change it back manually, but before long you find that it has changed back again?
Try these.....
SuperAntiSpyware (free)

How turn off "There is a problem with this website's security certificate"?
"There is a problem with this website's security certificate" pops up on every web page I go to. How can I turn this off on windows XP Explorer?
Check the date on your computer. If you accidentally put it ahead, say Feb. 2, 2009 that could be the reason.
If that doesn't work check your security settings and try "Restoring the Advance Settings". With Explorer open Click on Tools | Internet Options | Advanced Tab
What is a website security certificate? Why is it needed?
When you go to any site that begins with HTTPS you get to view a security certificate. Is it important to have this? What is it exactly anyways?
If an organization wants to have a secure web site that uses encryption, it needs to obtain a site, or host, certificate. Some steps you can take to help determine if a site uses encryption are to look for a closed padlock in the status bar at the bottom of your browser window and to look for "https:" rather than "http:" in the URL (see Protecting Your Privacy for more information). By making sure a web site encrypts your information and has a valid certificate, you can help protect yourself against attackers who create malicious sites to gather your information. You want to make sure you know where your information is going before you submit anything
If a web site has a valid certificate, it means that a certificate authority has taken steps to verify that the web address actually belongs to that organization. When you type a URL or follow a link to a secure web site, your browser will check the certificate for the following characteristics:
the web site address matches the address on the certificate
the certificate is signed by a certificate authority that the browser recognizes as a "trusted" authority
"the Website security Certificate has expired" what can I do to solve this problem?
Every time I tried to enter my bank account on line or msn I got message that the web site security certificate is expired or no longer valid. How can I solve this problem?
Call your bank and let them know about this problem (right away) Also log-in your msn account and look in the security area to find out your options Good Luck
Why are website security codes so hard to read?
Why can't they just have an image with normal font in black and white? Because, maybe I'm getting this all wrong, but isn't the point that the code is in an image, therefore proventing computers from spaming? Wouldn't creating an image that looks like it's not an image work just as well?
People make programs which are able to read text, the closer something resembles real text the easier it is to bypass. At the moment people write programs which just randomly guess the code based on a rather poor algorithm and usually gain access through that, there are plans to boost the security further by having text further obscured, but who knows!

my computer seems possessed . can someone help? I am unable to do anything online due to a security website?
the website is trying to get me to purchase security software. i do not want it, but i can't make all this mess go away. When i am not online, my computer is so slow i don't even want to turn it on.
Well you do have a spyware or virus on the system.
Best thing to do is save anything important you need.
Unplug your network cable so it doesnt spread to any other pc in the house.
And you might need to format it and install fresh copy of windows as the virus or whatever it is has already spread around.
You should be able to do the other steps mentioned above, but it's much easier to just format and reinstall as the antiviruses and spywares will move the viruses, but not fix the corrupted files.
Good Luck.
