Is there a demand for a website review service?
Is there a demand for a website review service? Where personal or business sites would pay $25 for 5 unbiased reviews. And then get feedback (good or bad) from normal online users? How many sites do you think would sign up for this kind of service? Do you think there is a need for it?

There are many website reviews that are offered for free. Just look at YA and the number of questions that ask to review their websites If you will charge for your review, then you need to go in-depth. Not just cosmetic reviews that they can get from YA or other forums. To make your PAID website review successful, here are my suggestions: - Focus on usability analysis.from navigation architecture to credibility and flow of the site - Analysis of web metrics such as funnel analysis to show how a person goes from one page to the goal of the site (e.g. purchase page or advertising order) - Search engine optimization analysis focusing on on-page factors - Conversion analysis to help the site owner finetune elements of the site to improve sales and turn visitors to buyers If you will give any of the above, then you can definitely charge for your review.

I posted here about 3 weeks ago with a link to a website I made and I was asking for (helpful) critisisum. After taking into consideration everyone thoughts I have re-built it. BEFORE: www.exclusivetents.com AFTER: www.actionafrica.com What do you think of the new one?

Some thoughts: - the banner at the top of the page really is HUGE! I strongly recommend making it smaller - the text headers in the boxes are not centered properly, - the main text is centered and should not be - i think your header text is too big and looks like you are yelling - use the same font for 'you are welcome...' as you do for 'specials' and 'links' although be careful about using 'nice' looking font as they are not always universal ie. they don't always get reproduced ok in people's browsers - edit your main text to make it more visually appealing ... it looks like a lot of text and people online don't read but scan hope this helps, serge

Is anyone else having problems accessing the Princeton Review website?
I can't seem to get on the Princeton Review website. I've never had this trouble before, but I can't even access the homepage. It tells me that the "page is not found." Anybody else having trouble, or know what's going on? Thanks!

It works fine for me. Try going through google, or resetting your internet.

Your site's homepage looks a lot like a simple directory not a review site. Make your reviews more prominent. on the homepage. One way to get people to leave comments is by holding some kind of competition with a prize. Let's say that every month you will give a random reviewer £25 or £50 based on the quality of the reviews they have posted. You could also have free gifts like, free ebooks or free 'something' to get the reviews rolling. Hope this helps.
