What website allows users to make graphic design images for businesses?
I found it one time but I can't remember the name. You can create your own profile and either submit designs like logos, business cards, and website designs or create criteria for your own company. The person making an offer decides which design they like best and pays the designer for it.
I'm not looking for a place to buy a logo. I'm looking for a specific site where you can create one so others can review.
Are you looking for http://www.designbay.com
They have logo, web and other graphic design contests or freelance jobs which you can submit quotes for.
What is the best website design program and where could I download it?
What is the best website design program? Dreamweaver? Microsoft's replacement for frontpage?
Where could I get the program for free?
I like XsitePro 2 for building small business websites but it's not free. If you're looking for some free options you might want to try Kompozer or Coffee Cup as listed above.

Also Dreamweaver has a free 30-day trial at

How much can I earn by doing website design?
I'm thinking of learning web-site design as one of my hobby and I would like to know what is the average income of designing website.
What is the price they usually charged to hire people to design their website.
What are the programs that I need to learn to start designing my websites?
Our senior web designers make around $95-250/hour depending on the type of work, if on an hourly basis. This is in Manhattan, where prices are higher.
Otherwise, a general idea is that a professional website designer can charge anywhere starting at $500 per custom-made page. That means that the page is created entirely by them, from their own imagination. Otherwise, if you are simply copy pasting a template, then $50-100 should do just fine.
It really comes down to whether you do customized work or you simply copy and paste into existing templates. If you want to be dishonest you can always charge high prices for template work as well.
Who owns the copyright of a website design in insolvency and unpaid wages?
If a web design company you work for becomes insolvent and does not pay you your wages for the last month you have worked. Who owns the copyright of the work you have produced (website designs and logo's) during that month of employment that you have not been paid for or compensated for?
The company (or its subsequent administration) owns all work you produce up to and upon project completion, unless specified otherwise in a contract. However you also are legally entitled to your payment for it no matter what happens to the company.
What is the best free website design program?
I am going to create a website, and was wondering what the best free web design program was. Thanks for the help.

What is an easy to use website design program?
I would like to design my own website, nothing too fancy, but it needs to be user friendly as I'm not that computer literate. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks.
Well depending on what kind of site you want to make for a personal kinda deal I would simply go to www.freewebs.com and use there site hosting which you can also use there site builder too. It is very simple to use. Now if your makeing a more serious site like for bussness or a club or wtv I would use the Front Page program. You could pick one up on ebay or microsoft.com might have one. But it's a little more complex but sill offers a simple drag and drop kinda site building(it's not scipt or anything hard) Only think I run into with it is that it's hard to really put it up somewhere unless you plan to host it from your computer then it's a little more simple. But as far has hosting it goes Freewebs is the best way.
What do you look for in a website design firm?
Please don't say that you just do it yourself...I do too and am not looking for that info.
What do you look for when you are evaluating a website design company to decide if you want to use them?
When you hire a web designer to do your job for you, you are doing more than just handing over the "dirty job" to someone else. In fact, by paying a little money, you can let the designer worry about the little annoyances that always evade the main picture and only come haunting when you're halfway through the job. That way, you will be more focused and have more time to spend on your actual business strategy.
Look at their portfolio of sites. Ask for references from customers and then call or email the references. Ask what kind of tech support they offer- if there is a problem with your site, how long does it take them to get back to you and to fix the problem.
What is a reasonable price for a website design?
My aunt asked me to design a website for her new business and she said she would pay me to do it, but I really don't have any idea of how much to charge her. It is a five page site. How much would you charge? Flat price for the whole thing, or an hourly rate?
I'm a web designer too and I've seen rates in my local area from $20 per hour to as high as $95 per hour. I've also seen flat rates from $99 for a one page site to some really crazy amounts...I'm talking $10,000 for ecommerce.
It really depends on what she wants, what your are able to do, etc. Personally I charge $99 for a 3 page site and $30 for each additional page. I find the flat rate is an easier sell to the customer. Sometimes I come out good...and sometimes I lose on flat rates. Very important to find out up front what she wants so you don't have a lot of revisions.
I use templates/sitebuilders so it is not hard and there is very little actual coding.
Make sure to find out what she can spend on hosting. Prices for this range from $5 per month and up depending on how much space she needs.
If she needs a domain name, don't pay the $30-$75 I see so often. You find them for $9.95 and with an excellent company. I use them because the domain name gets registered to the person...not the domain company so you maintain full control over it.
I've put links below to a hosting site with sitebuilder software included as well as the domain name company I use.
Hope that helps.
