What colors really grabs a viewers attention on a website?
I have created a website and the color scheme makes my page look rather flat. I am using light blues, white background, and black text. What are some good color schemes (2 or 3 at the most) that would help grab a readers attention and keep them there? You can mention gradients or just solid colors. Any help is appriciated.

In my opinion solid colours are the best to use. if your after colour inspiration check out http://kuler.adobe.com really good for putting together colour swatches to get the perfect colours. Also in my opinion blues and greens are really nice to look at, any colour would do just remember to try and be unique and contrast font colours with the site colours. hope that helps

Website colors come up different on different computers?
Hello, I've got a website with a banana-color background. When viewed on my computer, or several other computers, it looks absolutely normal. When viewed on some computers, however, the background is a pinkish color. Is there a fix for this? Is this web-specific, or monitor-specific?

yes, change the contrast in the graphic card settings? it can effect the colours when one computer is different to another.. go to start- control panel - and then look for your graphic settings..

Blue promotes trust. Stay away from green or people will think you're money-hungry. Avoid pink or other soft colors that will conflict with the company image. No red - that means anger.

How do people have MINI COOPER colors on the road that arent on the website?
So I have seen all these weird MINI COOPER colors on the road and it never occured to be that these colors werent on the website until I checked MINI.com a few days ago. From what I learned on MINI fan sites, these colors change every year but the main ones stay. Theres colors such as gold, minty green, and maroon that I really like and am thinking about purchasing in about a year but how do I purchase it if its not on the site (like was maroon once available on the site before) ? You paint one. Buy an old one that had the right color. Or You wait till a color you want comes out on a new one, provided you can find it at your local dealer. One of my reasons for not trading for a new car, is I don't like the colors that they come in. So why pay that kind of money for something I don't like? Why should you?

What colors should I use in the background of my website? I would like the colors to be easy-on-the-eye, but not boring. Right now I can't decide between blue or a beige color. Any suggestions?

It is the mix or RGB (red , green, & blue) in different percentages. Well just kidding. The promonent colors which catches the eye ball of an individual are black, red, orange, green and blue. For your business website blue color will be more sophisticated as compared to any other color. Blue color always give corporatish look.

I believe behr has one. I used it once awhile back. You can change paint, trim, door color, roof & shutter colors. Try going to lowes.com & click on projects & you should be able to find it.
