Website building ???
I am building a website for my fathers concrete buisness and he wants it to have pictures on it.....how do you make one of those things where the pictures change? It looks kinda like a power point slide show. A lot of websites have them, but I just can't figure out how to do it.

How do i go about building a simple but effective website for a small business?

If you are a true novice and don't want to spend much time learning how to make a site, I would suggest the current super-popular MySpace. You can quickly get your information up for all your friends to see. If you are interested in something more, but still fairly simple try GeoCities or Yahoo. If you are willing to learn HTML I would suggest ATSPACE.COM. You can create a website for FREE up to 50MBs in size and NO ADS. I have two websites through them and the uptime is great. You'll need an ftp program to upload your stuff. There's a good free one for personal use called "FTP Explorer". For you I would go for www.synthasite.com because the website offers hot designing option that you cant get on normal subdomain sites like blogger or wordpress. I myself use the website & if you sign up for a premium domain the you get more hot stuff to do like fonts & templates & lots of hot stuff, Not many people know about this site but when they do know & try it I am sure they love it cause my friends have domain websites on blogger & when I told them about syntha site they really loved it. Is it hard to create a website from a template without any website building knowledge?
I am looking to create some websites from some templates that I have and I was wondering how hard it is to create a full website using a template. I have no knowledge of building a website so would it be impossible for me to create the site. I am ok with uploading the website to a server but I don't know how I would create the website. I am looking to create hosting websites as I have loads of hosting website templates which I want to make into full websites. I have dreamweaver what other software would I need. I have both html and flash website templates. Would I need to create the website in html . I just need something like this website www.lynuxhosting.com it doesn't have to be to complicated. If it will be to hard to create my own site is their anywhere I can buy already made hosting sites which I can sell on to people myself and have resale rights to.

It should be difficult, but hardly impossible, to make the website from a template. However, it will be nearly impossible, if not completely impossible, to do it well and have it look as good as it should, if you don't have the necessary knowledge and skills. If a professional-looking site is important to you, I recommend hiring a designer/developer.
