Virtual Website Hosting

Do you know any free and easy website builder?
I need a free and easy website builder(or hosting) where I can put my stories. It is better if it has virtual editor.

Making pages and hosting pages are two very, very different things. Hosting pages can be done for free at sites like GeoCities, Freewebs, GooglePages and numerous others. Most of them come with advertising, but in my experience the advertising on Freewebs is more intrusive than that on GeoCities and GooglePages. Creating pages can be done by hand in Notepad or Wordpad (I recommend Wordpad, it has a number of important advantages over Notepad), or using a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor like OpenOffice or Nvu (both available as free downloads). I've used both OpenOffice and Nvu, and they both have their limitations, but they're free, and I mean, you get what you pay for, right? If you want to feel like a real professional, you'd probably need to pay for something like Dreamweaver. OpenOffice should work just fine for stories, though; I use it to write my stories and make them into HTML pages, and so far it's done the job pretty well. It's only the more advanced types of website building that you'd be wanting a better editor for.

question about virtual pc? 5 stars for the best and helfulest answer?
Trying to install my printer into guest XP in Virtual PC 2007, using HP software and drivers from HP website, tried twice and goes OK up to final installation, telling me missing USB drivers and hardware, although printer is fine on my host Vista Ultimate. How do I get the host virtual XP to install this printer?? thanks a million...!

VPC doesn't do USB. The usual fix is to enable networking between host and guest and share the host's printer.

Weird message when i just when to try where's my stimulus rebate on irs website anybody know an answer ?
here is what it said SRVE0017W: A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle /irfof/IRServlet has not been defined. SRVE0017W: A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle /irfof/IRServlet has not been defined. IBM WebSphere Application Server

Tell their WAS Administrator to: 1. In the WebSphere administrative console, click Environment → Virtual Hosts. 2. Select the target virtual host, then click Host Aliases, and select the *:80 host alias. 3. Change the Host Name field to a specific alias instead of * alias. 4. Restart the application server. Another possibility is: Verify that the Web module started and, if it has, Verify that the Web module has started successfully

Microsoft Virtual pc , HELP?
Hi, I'd like to know if Microsoft virtual PC can run windows xp sp2 inside a host OS of Windows vista? I was going through the website http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=28C97D22-6EB8-4A09-A7F7-F6C7A1F000B5&displaylang=en it says you can install windows xp sp3 as guest OS, was wondering if installing xp sp2 would be a problem using MS Virtual pc ....?

You can run any version of XP in a VPC guest. The only problem might be trying to use the OS that came bundled in your old system and the setup code wouldn't work. Do count up RAM, though. Some Vista systems come with barely enough RAM to boot, and virtual PCs do not give back assigned RAM when idle.

Any PHP coders willing to help me out with a dog SIM?
First off...you don't get paid real money I need coders for new Virtual pets website. I don't need layout coders or people to make my site look nice, right now I just want it to work. Basically all I have now is the ability for people to sign up, and even that isn't complete. My site is hosted at bravenet, and as a premium memeber I am allowed to use php, and also have a MySql database. Coders Must Have expirence with PHP Be able to be contacted easily I would like it if you have an example of your work, but it's not a must. Coders will NOT be grgranted direct access to my account unless I decide I can really trust you. However, you will be given my database info. Anyone who can help me will be rewarded a high number account on the site, loads of that virtual money, and mod abilities. If you have something else in mind maybe we can work it out, as I'm in a great need Please post here, AIM Smoose101, or e-mail Smoose101@aol.com I'm not thinking up anything too complicated. It's based off of games such as Horseland, Furry-Paws, and Showdog.com. Pretty much players can own, train and breed their dogs. The dogs would have 2 stats, genetic and training stats that they get through shows. Mainly I just need people to help do the things I can't figure out, which will probably be a lot. Most of all I need a log in page, so if you can do that in a reasonable amount of time then please don't hesitate to contact me! Smoose101@aol.com, post here, or AIM Smoose101

Thank you fro the help.

Windows Server 2000 - 2003 32-bit as you base sever. Comes with IIS 5 or IIS 6, which supports ASP 3.0 You can get the Zend / PHP engine for Windows directly from http://www.php.net IIS natively supports SSI. Perl (which you probably mean when you say CGI) is available from http://www.perl.com as a 32-bit executable. MDAC 2.8,ADO 2.8,Microsoft XML 4.0 SP2: All these are built-in to Windows Server 2000 - 2003 or can be downloaded directly from Microsoft. Site Builder Tool,Photo Album Creator,Express Site Creation,Custom Site Creation -- this software is up to you. There are a number of freeware apps out there such as Joomla, Gallery, etc. Windows Media HTTP Streaming -- this is built into Windows Server 2003 and is available as an add-on for Windows Server 2000. However, support for it is scant; you will pay a hefty price to a consultant to get this up and running. Merchant Manager,Integrated Merchants Include,Papal, Secure Trading,World pay,Virtual SSL: This is available for free in ZenCart. 50 POP3/Email Accounts,SMTP/Outgoing Mail,Catch-All Email Account,Web Based Interface,Sit email,Unlimited Aliases/Forwarding,Auto Responders,1 FTP Account(s): This is all supported by IIS with built-in SMTP and FTP service, but I would upgrade to SmarterMail http://www.smartertools.com/ Firewall Protected: This depends on your network. Generally speaking, proper router setup and network intrusion detection should suffice.

I host some groups on flickr, and I wanna know how can I make those glittery images as codes for the group(s).?
I forgot which website this was on, but I'd like to know how can I make some visual effects like a virtual award or something similar for my flickr group(s). I administer four but I own three of these group. Any advice at this point would be very helpful. thanks!

What you're after is an animated gif, and there are plenty of tutorials available on how to create them, but please please please don't do this. Animated gifs are the most irritating thing to post on someone's photo. Stick with a static image if you insist on having an "award" to give out to people, it will make your group look a lot more refined and mature. I personally refuse to join any site with moving award or invite images.
