I can buy a domain w/Free 20MB webspace+unltd "virtual" domains w/20MB per also.Can I link them together ?

whats that you could not understand? if you buy yoursite.com you get 20 MB free space along with it. Then you can create subdomains like mail.yoursite.com or whatever.yoursite.com But there will be ads coming on those pages coz its free hosting. Let me know your budget and what you want. How do I add a site like this soandso.com. A domain. Besides this soandso.domainname.com? Is that website correct? I mean, can I make a website go to a domain name? What will katierowe45666.localhost go to? How can I get it to look like this katierowe45666.com? The Servername, can I put katierowe45666.com? How do I do this?

If its a linux server its will be in /etc/hosts Or a VirtualHost could be created in your apache httpd.conf file. ( if its running apache )

With a GoDaddy Virtual server, how do I get a crontab job to execute a PHP script on one of my hosted domains?
I know how to setup a crontab job, but when I schedule a PHP job it never runs.

I'd like to know if my site needs to be registered or not; and if it does...where or with whom; please. My web site is FREE and I don't charge for nothing. I only ask for donations to help me pay my domain and hosting. Besides, my URL ends in .org (organitation) not in .com I'd like to register my Virtual University I've created . In the states you must be registered with, and certified, by the APA, and must have proof of you credentials, and educational background. Other wise what would preclude every pseudo psychologist in the world from disseminating, their erroneous understanding and present it as fact ?

Options for online file storage?
I need a central place to store files, and I'm thinking online could be handy. I own several domains (hosted) with plenty of space, and ftp accounts. I also have several pc's, some at home, some I travel with. But ftp can be a hassle sometimes. I know there are some free services. Ideally, I'd like to be able to permanently map a virtual internet drive and just connect whenever I have a fast enough connection. What are some other options for online storage?

my problem is when i visit my domain the page says "This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed." ive used smartftp client to uplaod a publisher document to the domain name but notheing shows just that message, will someone explain how to get a publisher file on the web, i have a domain name which is hosted and ftp software but no clue what to do, please help

Lets assume your web site is called mywebsite.com and you upload a file to your web site called mydocument.doc To access that document you need to type: http://www.mywebsite.com/mydocument.doc If you create a folder on your web server called 'myfolder' and you put your document inside it, you'll need to type: http://www.mywebsite.com/myfolder/mydocument.doc Now you'll notice that some web sites display something when you just type in the domain, for example: http://www.mywebsite.com No file is specified but you can still get something back from the site, this is because you need to put an index page. The index page is generally called index.html or default.asp You upload the index file, i.e. index.html When you type the web site domain into your browser without a file name as in: http://www.mywebsite.com Your web server will look for an index page if one exists the web server will send the index page if one doesn't exist your web server will display "This virtual directory does not allow contents to be listed". You could contact your web server hosting company to ask them to allow directory contents to be listed, however, for security reasons it isn't advised.
