Ventrilo servers?
I need to get to various ventrilo servers for good/educational reasons and i was wondering if anybody here knew of any servers that have people in them regularly so i can casually talk to them.
Usually gamers have servers for guilds and groups but not many "free" or "open" servers; you'd have to be a part of a group, guild, etc. or research online if there's a vent server for a specific group. If you just wanna voice chat I recommend PalTalk (www.paltalk.com)
How do people get into Ventrilo servers?
I see on youtube people get into the Ventrilo servers and annoy people and they get all mad but its actually pretty funny. I was wondering how do people do that? Please help 10 points for best response
Go to www.ventrilo.com and download the client server.
Then you have to have the info for a specific server you have to type in the IP address, and port number and a password if the server has one.
Are there any ventrilo servers I can get into to spam with music or something... I'm very bored...?
I just wanted to try something funny like on ventrilo harassment and I don't know of any public servers that I can use to get my jollys off on playing horrible music and/or spamming duke nukem quotes while playing cs.

What causes me to disconnect from online games and ventrilo when people get on my network?
I use a WRT54GS Linksys wireless router. Every time that someone gets on the network I get disconnected from what I am doing. Like when my roommate comes home and turns on his laptop and connects to the network, it disconnects me from whatever I am on ie: online games and ventrilo servers etc. There are only two other people that use the network but they happen to turn their computers on and off a lot. Anyone know why this is and if there is a solution to this?
are they wireless too? they may have a program or a virus that is steeling all the bandwidth, your signal could be too weak, go into router settings and turn up the transmittion rate, change the wireless channel, try downloading linksys network manager from their website.

I have enouge money to buy any server I want but I want to know is it just a place for people to Talk? Is it just for PC gamers?
Yes, it's pretty much just a place for people to talk, and it's almost exclusively used by gamers as far as I know.

How do you talk in the robotic voice in program Ventrilo?
Everyone uses the robotic voice in my Ventrilo server but I don't know how they do it. How do I do it so that everyone hears it? I can only do it in chat right now.
They use what is called Text to Speech bindings. If you wish to create a binding, you go to Add or Edit key bindings -> New -> Add -> Text to Speech -> enter message and press Ok -> press Ok again -> Then press the assigned hotkey and you should be good to go.
