Where is a good video hosting site that lets you upload television shows?
I have some old cartoon that do not come on television anymore, like Dexter's Lab and the Powerpuff Girls, and I would like to share these episodes on a website. I've tries Youtube and Vimeo, but I kept getting banned. Is there any free video hosting website out there on the web that let's you upload television shows without getrting banned? If so, what is the web address?

No site will legally allow you to upload TV shows. Mostly because it is ILLEGAL!

Can you suggest a video hosting website that lets upload videos that can be viewable only on my website ?
Please tell me a free video hosting website like youtube that lets me upload videos and make them private. i.e. they should be viewed from only my website(through embedded player) and nowhere else. Does any website provide such facility(an api) ??

Youtube: The only way you can embed private videos from youtube on your website/blog etc, is that you first must make it private, then must select the people you want to watch it, make that list wich is limited to 25 person (i think), then embed the normal code on your website. Then the persons in the selected list on that private video, must be logged with their youtube account, to be able to watch that video, be it on your site, or on youtube! How do i upload a web site template that i downloaded onto a hosting site?

Post that to the Computer Networking area. It's not a real estate question. As a network engineer, I'd suggest that you design the website in Dreamweaver using the template and then upload the completed site to the hosting site. Don't upload the template; it'll be publicly accessible and will look silly.

i have a short video which I want to upload to a video hosting site. How do I do this?
My video is about 4.2 mins long and is about 184kb and I made it in Windows Movie Maker. I would like it to be down loadable without a Bit Torrent program being necessary for the recipient. Unfortunaely, my video is too big a file for Youtube and I cannot reduce it to an acceptable size for that site or I could have easily used Youtube.

Then you need to go to whatever video hosting site you are planning on using and read the darned directions, they will tell you how to do it.

Upload Video To Multiple Video Hosting Sites At Once?
A few weeks ago I looked at a cool new web service that allows you to upload your videos to several video hosting sites at once. I am looking into a domain and web hosting from Yahoo. How do I upload my info once I am done?
I am reading up on the starter package that Yahoo has to offer. I understand you need hosting and a domain name, but how would I go about uploading my information when I am done. Can I just use Microsoft word to do my html and then upload it from there, or would I need to purchase Dreamweaver or Front page?

Check out the security on Flickr. I have photos in a private file that can only be accessed by family that I invite. Other people can't see them.

How can I convert video from my JVC miniDV 2 mpeg format so I can then upload 2 a video hosting site?


You need to download your footage to the computer first using a firewire cable to your firewire card in the computer. If you dont have one of these - you need one other wise you cant get your footage. if you do, then use windows movie maker or macs imovie to then control the camera which should be connected and in play mode to play and then capture the footage as it plays in real time. once thats done you need to export your footage, when you choose to do this the software should ask you what you want to export it as and give you the option of an mpeg. good luck!

Youtube doesn't allow longer than 10. Any suggestions?

I was a newbie a while back ,I have an excellent experience with Bluehost webhosting. I have called them several times for configuring my SQL database and some php stuff and every time they have solved my problems .
