Unlimited Reseller Hosting

Looking for Good Reseller Hosting Package.?
I'm thinking about starting my own Hosting site. I'm looking to pay yearly ONLY. I can't find any good hosting packages that offer unlimited space, bandwidth, subdomains, and domains for a decent price. I'm not really looking for anything more than 100 USD. If anyone can please help me, please do.

I can fully recommend Hostgator Web Hosting. I have used Hostgator as my web host for over two years now and have been very very impressed with them. Firstly they're very cheap but still give me more web hosting space and bandwidth than I'll ever need, the ability to host unlimited websites, a 99.9% uptime guarantee and great customer support. For less than $8 a month you get: 600 Gigs of Web Hosting Space 6,000 Gigabytes of Bandwidth Host UNLIMITED Websites 99.9% Uptime Guarantee 45 Day Money Back Guarantee CGI, PHP 4 & 5, RoR, Perl MySQL, SSH, SSL, IMAP, POP cPanel Hosting 24/7/365 Upgraded Support You can find them at http://www.webhostgator.info

Should I register my online business?
I've been running a very small online business for 4 years now. I haven't even broken even until this year. Years ago I bought a web hosting reseller account just to have the extra space and unlimited domains, then decided to sell the remaining space, and started my online business. Breaking even wasn't too important to me since the money I spend would have been spent either way just to manage my own personal domains. Now that I am making profit, as small as it is, I am wondering should I register this business? Will the taxes eat away the small profits I make? And I do mean small, very small profits. Is there a certain amount of profit that your business must generate before it must be registered? Or will the government realize I make little profit and not tax? I doubt it, but I am not sure what to do here. I don't want to be breaking the law, but if I will be losing money by registering I don't see the point.

Do you need server access to install WHM? Or can it be installed using PHP and MySql? Please help!?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I want to upload WHM to my unlimited web host. But, I do not have server access. Is WHM a application that installs on windows, or does it fit in using PHP? Can I upload WHM on FTP and MySql Databse and give free accounts away? Or, is there another reseller panel that doesn't need server access and can install using php?

I would think you need root access since WHM is designed to manage sites on the server. I know you need root to setup cPanel. good luck

Help me decide between 2 webhosts?
I'm currently stuck deciding between 2 great free hosts! Here's the breakdown: Host # 1: - short subdomain (about 3 char. long) - cPanel w/fantastico - PHP and Perl Support - Unlimited Sub-domains, E-mail, & MySQL Databases - Somewhat inactive owner - somewhat active hostees - very slow response (I posted a question at the forum and I only got a reply from the owner 10 days later) - not responsible for back-ups - owner has to review apps first - reseller at surpasshosting HOST # 2: - long subdomain (about 14 char. long) - No cPanel but has Webmin control panel instead - Unlimited space and bandwidth - Up to 2 subdomains (more upon request) and up to 5 websites - PHP 5.2, Ruby on Rails 1.2, MySql 5.0, phpMyAdmin, etc. - regular offsite back-ups - Very active owner (I sent 2 questions through email to him already and responded less than 30 minutes!) - Somewhat inactive hostees - very selective when it comes to hostees (But I fit) - own server I'm not linking to the sites because I don't want to attract applications from noobs and abusers if you know what I mean... The site I'm planning to make is a personal site and portfolio/fanlisting collective. I might buy a domain name and my own hosting account next year when I get my online payment stuff set-up. But for now, free-hosting will do. What do you guys think? Any opinion is much appreciated.

I'd go with the second one. I like Webmin, I prefer Ruby to Perl. I'd do my own backups, regardless of what the host does. (I have a copy of every site on every computer I own [I'm away from home now, on my laptop so ...], and I keep copies on flash drives too - belt and suspenders.) But the second site sounds like a few of my sites. You might also think of hosting your own site - the software is free, and a domain name costs about as much as a pack of cigarettes. (I travel with an entire site on a flash drive - Apache, MySQL, etc., all included.)
