Unlimited Host
Where can I host unlimited MP3s for free where other people can download them for free?
I am a chorus teacher of students who need to independently learn music throughout the year. Instead of making thousands of study CDs, I would like to upload the tracks I create myself online so they can be downloaded by my students. This way they can listen to them online, put them on their ipods, or burn CDs saving me a lot of time.
Snocap charges money after the first year, and myspace and purevolume will only let me post 4 or 5 songs at a time.
Are there any other options out there?
(Also I do not have access to my own website, so anything snocap style that sits in a myspace page would be ideal.)

If you can let your personal computer online all the time, like a server, you can host your files on your computer - put them in a folder, with or without other files: history, explications, all stuff necessary. After that, download GoldenFTPServer from http://www.dirfile.com/golden_ftp_server.htm ,it's an amazingly easy-to-use piece of software. It's a FTP server who don't need any configuration, only point to the directory where your files are located and share them. There is a button, "Copy link to clipboard", you will get from there the FTP adress of your server, and send that adress to your students. They will copy the files directly from your computer, that will do to some slowdown your internet connection for a few days, but...You Have Your Own Server, yeee
Which server host gives unlimited site space and is the cheapest?
Must be able to set thy own rules.
Must not limit either downloads and/or uploads.
Must be able to use it for what I want to use it for which in my case is a place to put information for both hidden and immediately useable features for a 3-D fighting game I have in mind so that the information would be organized rather than scattered.
Finally, must allows payments in such a way that in theory the site would never go down.
I doubt you'll find a host that meets this criteria, especially the unlimited up/down. You're probably better off building your own server and getting it a dedicated internet connection, probably a T1, for something like this.
Need a host with unlimited DB size?
I have a project that i need a large database for i have a host but they only give me a 100MB database. Im not too concerned about the amount of db's but i need large ones. Any ideas?
