In your experiences, what do you believe to be the best domain name registrar & best web hosting site?
I have reviewed several "top 10", "top 25" & "best of" sites regarding both of these and find that there is some similarity in favorite sites for the domain name registrat and web hosting site....but i have also found that many prefer to register their domain name with one site and pick up the hosting and design from another? So, I am trying to find a definitive answer as to which service provider sites are the best for both, and should i use the same or different sites for completing the multiple tasks in trying to register my site and get it up and running asap????
I prefer My Webbie hosting. their plans are cheap (the lowest is $3.95/month) and the registration of the domain name is free on the first year. The customer service is also awesome, they respond to my tickets in less than an hour.

I'm new at this but decided to give this all a try. I am setting up an online clothing store for my cousin and am deciding on a which web host i should use. for the number of domains in a package::
does that mean i can only have like a HOME page? and no other links connecting to it? like a customer service page?? or is that a subdomain?
what do you suggest?

Mandy, It is great that you have narrowed your match for web hosting down to two options. If you go with the hatchling plan you will only have one domain which will be your home page. If you are looking to have multiple pages I would go with the next plan up. Most web hosts offer unlimited domain hosting which means that you can have a home page and an unlimited amount of sub-domains linking to it.

Hi, I'm using the free web host WebNg and i really like it! but i was wondering if there is any way of updating my website without uploading the hole page again! I already have a script on the "Index" page that makes so i can edit the text from a different text doccument but is there any programs that will upload it for me or something like that?

You can change the code of your pages directly in WebNg. Just go to the page you want to change and select the "pencil" icon next to the file. This will bring the page up in code for you to make the changes. Good luck:) Note: Use the pencil only icon, not the pen and paper icon.
