Teamspeak Server
TeamSpeak Server?
I have 2 PCs behind a router. My question is, how would I get one of them to work as a server on the Internet with TeamSpeak? I got the LAN thing down, but the Internet one will not work. Apparently it cannot connect.
You must permit TCP/IP port: 8765 and UDP Port: 8766 to access your Teamspeak server from the Internet. Your router is probably blocking these ports. Get access to your router and look for a feature called "port forwarding". Forward the ports to the IP address of your Teamspeak server on your LAN.

I have my teamspeak server already setup, but to log in I have to use my IP address. I want to change it to something like duckee.mine.nu or whatever like whatever.hopto.org, anything other than my ip address. And I want to do it for free

Would anyone like a Teamspeak server?
Hey there. I am trying to start a simple and friendly teamspeak hosting service for a small group of people who want hosting with a bit of a difference. We would only host small clients for a very small price. We can offer 90% uptime and a server admin that is availible most of the time personally by email, or instant messenger. Anyone is interested? or know anyone that would be interested? Let me know please.
No thanks!
How do I set up a private server for Teamspeak for World of Warcraft?
Me and the husband want to talk using it whilst playing. I already have a domain/webhosting account so will that somehow help set this thing up? Please help.
If it's just you and him then I recommend you just use the in-game chat. Simply go in to your sound options and click the box that says "enable voice chat". Then when you enter in to a party you will automatically be able to talk with whoever you are grouping with.
If you still desire to use Teamspeak/Ventilo then you will both need to download the program and then at least one of you will have to download the hosting client as well. It should all be pretty clear on the Teamspeak/Ventrilo website. From there you don't need web hosting or anything, you just have to host a channel with the hosting client and then you both connect to it. Without paying for the program you are limited in options but if you ever join a big enough guild they generally have somebody paying for decent Teamspeak/Ventrilo servers.
Is there a PHP script that sets up a Teamspeak server if someone orders it?
I have a TS hosting company and need a script that they can put the port, pass, ect, and when they click order and their payment sends in, they get a TS server
I haven't heard of any, and something like this would be a bit less generic than a good number of scripts, due to other factors outside the TS. This would, however, be pretty simple to do yourself. I would give it a shot, or ask a company that targets a like demographic, and see what they have.
How do you get 'Teamspeak' on your FlightSimulator 2004 server?
Please could anyone with flight simulator 2004, tell me how you can get teamspeak onto your server that you host?
Thank-you...
Any qusetions...just ask
Teamspeak can be installed on a host computer, then the machine's current IP address can be given to other users to connect to when they download and install the client-side software. I've even just run the stuff on my personal desktop before for a few users with no problems.
