is the credit card payment option the only way to fund a yahoo small business website?
I am trying to find out if you can fund the yahoo web hosting service for small business by any other means than a credit card account such as pay pal or direct deposit
A credit card assures Yahoo that they're dealing with an adult, which is always a concern. Howeverm there is a way to use your PayPal account, which is to apply for and get the PayPal debit card and use that to pay for the Small Business site. It takes money directly from your PayPal account.

i would like to be able to have a message board on my website. I have a the "starter" web hosting package with Yahoo! small business services. I used the free sitebuilder software to do the basic design and page flow and must stress that I am NOT AN EXPERT (if that wasnt clear already). Thanks so much...-Ryan

that's the one I use. visitors can use an existing id, create a temporary one, or be assigned an anon id automatically. It's pretty user friendly and free. And it stores a number of older messages for reference.
how do i build a smart web site structure on Yahoo! small business?
I have a site that will leverage both http and https, and is hosted on Yahoo! small business services. I want to avoid the message "this page contains sercure and nonsecure ..." when a user visits the secure section of the site.
At first glance, I figured that I could place all of the required content into a folder under
all your links to images, etc. need to be secure. If you have anything that is from an http request it will throw that message. Everythign must be https://

I work with a company that offers services to small businesses (less than a 100 employees), as well as those that are self employeed and work out of their home in many states.
Our services are designed to protect and grown businesses by giving them access to services that BIG business enjoy, such as consultations with Accountants, Tax Advisors, HR Directors, IT Managers, Hosting a website and putting it together with unlimited changes. In addition to all of this my firm is there to protect the business legally by offering consultations, contract review, debt collection, and representation in civil suits among a few other things.
I am very excited to be involved, I am just not sure how to approach my target market. It seems people are so inundated with information that they are in a blur or they can't see how so much could be offered for so little. I need ideas of how to get them to see it, but more importantly see me.

Have you thought about pay per click programs? The two biggest, I think, are Yahoo! and Google

Also, consider signing up for an affiliate program. These programs enable you to advertise on other's sites (your affiliates) and once a sale is made to you, your affiliates & the program are paid a commission.

I know you can create a domain name directly from Microsoft Office Live Small Business but it is only availibly in the United States, is there a way to convert the website to a domain without using the provided service so that i can still edit the website with Microsoft Office Live Small Business but have it hosted as a domain with another service???

Small Business Server?
What would be the best performance/value for money server for a small business. I need to host a server for ftp services with about 25 users connecting to the ftp at any given time.. Please guide me with details as to the brand/model number. Any other relevant info in this regard would be highly appreciated..
Go for IBM server it will be ideal
