Small Business Email Hosting
How do I get my Small Business email to be attached to my free email?
I have had Yahoo email since I have been on the web. When I created my Yahoo Web Hosting account and created the email identity for it, I could check my email all together. There was a box in the left-hand margin which showed all of my available mail accounts. Being a business person, I have several. Now I am only able to access one account at a time. Is there a way to put the "available mail accounts" box back on my own?

How do I move my mail from one POP3 server to a new POP3 server?
I currently am using a service provider called iPowerweb for my small business's email and domain hosting. I would like to switch to another service provider. I know what needs to be done to switch the domain and the hosting however, I am not sure what to do with the mail portion. All of my employees currently use the Webmail function and keep all their mail on the server as oppose to using the POP3 access and downloading to Outlook. How do I move all their mail to the new POP3 server??
Usually POP3 Mail Services won't let you export their mail to a new service. The easiest way is to set up outlook to recieve mail from the old POP3 server. Once that is done you can put in the new POP3 server information and recieve mail from it. That is the easiest way to transfer from webmail services that i can think of.
I have created a form, how do I get it to submit to my email?
I am building a website that yahoo small business is hosting.
I don't understand your question. Are you wanting to know how to attach the form to your email? Would like to help.
If in Outlook just click on "insert" "file attachment" or "picture."
In Yahoo click on "attach file."
Hope that helps.
Does Yahoo! have some sort of marketing deal like the post office that they forward bulk (junk) email to users
I get almost all my junk mail through yahoo and my yahoo small business web hosting mail. I have 5 email accounts (Gmail, roadrunner also) and none get even 1/100th what yahoo gets
Seeing you too are in bussiness you can respect the idea of making money. yahoo is the same it's making money form businesses or advertiser's. Now those advertiser's place there work with others who lodge it as spam in your mail.
i used too average 20 spam letters in my mail a day, guess how many now none, yepp thats right not a single one.As your question didnt ask how to then im done here.
Can I direct HTML form code to my Yahoo! email address?
in my Yahoo! website services, there is a field in account information that is for "alternate email." it is that address to which formmail submissions are sent.
the problem for me is for an "alternate email" you're not allowed to use your Yahoo! address. so form submissions go to my hotmail instead, and i might not discover them right away, even if they are important order information.
any ideas on getting around this? (preferably if you have experience with Yahoo! small business hosting, so that you can see what i'm talking about) otherwise i'll have to make a pop3 alternate email address to use. the thing i like about my yahoo one is it's online with messenger so i get "outlook-style" notifications no matter where i am.
you'll have to make a pop3 alternate email address to solve this because of the way yahoo sets this up/

How can I reduce or deal with all the email spam that I am getting in my "in box"?
I have a small business that has a website. As a result, my address is "out there" and a tremendous amount of SPAM comes in each day. I have my mail sent from the hosting company to My Yahoo page where it can all be viewed together. It is not an option for me to take my email address off my website or not check that mail every day.
Please help me as I am drowning in messages about "hot stocks", on line pharmacy, enlarging the size of _____, strange biblical quotes, etc.
The service to see is spam blocker section eliminations.
To stop spam of one type the keyword list you design as in
this case allows you to choose several words that you cannot
allow spam to be delivered: get in, going up, trading. Make a
list after you choose what blocker system you want installed.
Is starting a SiteBuilder Web-Business a good idea?
Hi all,
I am starting a hosting business that hides the user from the complexities of setting up the website backend and only providing a dedicated website builder only (based on swsoft sitebuilder)
services to include:
- domain and email setup for the user
- easy to use website builder
- full support of email and builder products
- targeted towards small/medium business that are not computer savvy
- website fully hosted
My question is, will a business like this likely generate sales enough to make the business profitable? Is the market way too saturated with businesses homestead, moonfruit, citymax, web hosters providing sitebuilders, and web designers?
Also, are there any additional services I can provide to bring in more revenue apart from custom webdesign, or banner/logo editing?
SR5k!
I teach a lot of small business classes and always recommend online builders to the non-technical among my students. It's true that many have difficulty even using the simplest tools. So if you could develop a very straight-forward builder, with fairly high functionality, you may have a winner. I think the space is still evolving. Presently, I'm using SquareSpace for my blockbeta.com website. I was using Dreamweaver, but since I'm more of a marketer than a developer, I'm enjoying focusing on creating content, rather than the backend. It's one of the best I've seen so far, but it still requires at least a little bit of technical knowledge. You could offer a decent tool (or license one), then offer technical and maintenance assistance as a value-add.
