What would be the best solution for a small social sharing website reference in to hosting.?
Starting a small social, sharing videos site. I have no idea how much storage space and servers i would need at the beginning. My goal is to not have the site crash, however i don't have enough money to get hosting were the big boys are , youtube, yahoo etc. So what options do i have? Thank you,

I don't think there is a free one, but since you'll have customers ordering off the website and making prints and shipping, I think it's a worthy investment to pay. I love using www.pictage.com It really is great. They also create a link so you can add it to your website so customers can orderyour photos that way.

access website hosted inside shared network?
Ok, this is what i am attempting to do i have a rpimary machine which i have setup to share internet with another pc via dual ethernet. the pc using the shared connection i want to host a small website on, heres the issue how would i asscess this website outside my network, how would i cant just type my ip cause it bring up the computer sharing the network no the one using the shared network any one kind enough to assist me After a little work to my network i figured out where the options were to foward the port to the other machine

Well all I can give you is the theory answer. Port forwarding... You primary machine would have to accept traffic on port 80. Your host machine would have to have a webserver on configured to respond to whatever port you want, (could also be port 80) you would have to configure your primary machine to forward traffic received on port 80 to other computer hosting the website on whatever port it is listening on.

Could you help me with buying a domain, hosting the website, and using Microsoft Publisher?
I have purchased a domain at godaddy.com. It comes with free shared hosting. Will there be advertisements on the site? If so, how can I host it so there won't be any? Is buying a domain enough? Or do I need to host it somewhere? What does hosting mean? In Microsoft Publisher I have developed my website with video and text. On each page I have changed the "Web Page Options" so it has the description and keywords to help people find the site through search engines. Then I have saved it under "Publish to the Web..." and I assume I will later upload that to the hosting server? I am not sure how I load the site to the web, how the hosting works, etc. I need your help understand the role hosting plays, how that works, and its relationship with advertising. I want to set up a site for users to upload videos and share them. I want it to be an independent site and not a blog or group connected to Lycos or yahoo for example.
