A server is a computer that typically does one thing...such as a webserver (hosts web pages), email server, security server, etc. Hosting...if you want to build a webpage that others can see, then it needs to be 'hosted', or placed on a webserver. Yahoo answers is a host that's called answers.yahoo.com. Flickr.com hosts a webserver where folks can put their picks. youtube.com is a server where home movies and such are hosted. Good luck!

As far as I know, The Planet and EV1 (now The Planet) along with SoftLayer and Fast Servers.net I would say are the biggest and the best in the industry. How can I see what other sites are on my shared hosting server?
I have a shared hosting account and I would like to see what other sites are on that server. I know there is a website like that, I've seen it before on Digg, but I cant find it. using a ftp client...you login to the host's server..access your local folder (the one they assigned you)..and place the index.html in the root and the other files wherever index.html looks for them..

Hi, Microsoft Office 2007 is a paid office suite from the company and is not free ware so it is not shipped with any Vista edition. You can buy it at ur local computer store or online at http://www.microsoft.com Sometimes if u buy a new pc then a trial version of Microsoft Office may be included. How ever there are many office suites as good as Microsoft Office 2007 and they are free.
