Reseller Website Hosting
Best website host? Reseller packages?
Who are the better hosts, offer best prices, reseller packages, tech support?
umm yea im asking for suggestions from personal experience but thanks on your theory...
http://www.LocoDomains.com or http://www.JuicyHosting.com they both are very very good
Domain hosting question!
Let's say I want to have a reseller hosting website (ex: i want to run a celebrity fansite hosting site like fan-sites.org).
On some of these sub domains there might be hostees that want a .com or .net account - They'll register the domain, but how will I get that domain hosted on my site? I know they need to change their name servers...but that's all I know.
I recommend Dreamhost http://www.dreamhost.com/hosting.html
This is the best and cheapest option:
1. You just need to buy standard plan with them
Their price is $119.40/year ($9.95/month if you pay yearly) but you can use the promo code PLUS and get the $50 discount +2 Free domain names.
Disk space: 500 GB
Bandwidth: 5000 GB
2 Free domain names
Unlimited domains and subdomains
Price: $5.78/month ($69.40/year)
**You can use their huge Disk Space and host unlimited number of sites on a single account.
2. When your clients want to host their domain on your plan, they just need to change their name servers to Dreamhost (ns1.dreamhost.com ns2.dreamhost.com ns3.dreamhost.com)
3. Now you can create a sub account for them, and choose how much access you want to give them. They can have a full separate sub account with ftp access and all.
4. When they point somesite.com to Dreamhost, you (or they) just need to add that domain in Dreamhost control panel and that's it.
5. Now you just need to upload that site to your dreamhost root folder
6. You can have a new site up and running in less than 5 minutes from the moment you register the domain name.
I own my own website but i don't know what to do with it anymore, anyone got any ideas???
I used to sell reseller hosting with my website but I don't anymore. I want to make some money out of my website as it has nearly 2 years left, it hasn't got a huge google page rank, but I'd really like some content and something that can generate it some revenue, has anyone got any ideas?
You have to check out www.seogodfather.com It fully automates the SEO process without spending the big bucks on the outside services. The best part is, you stay in complete control of keywords, phases and everything. I've been using it with one of online businesses and I'm getting better results then with pay per clicks.
Is it possible to have seperate control panel for every site in my hosting account?
i have a hosting account which hosts a couple of my sites. Now i have contracted a new site project to a programmer.
I want to give him access to the control panel so that he can manage the site completely(setup database, mail etc) without letting him on any of the info on my other two sites. For my current hosting account it means providing him with
my hosting account administrative login, that means he has access to other sites too.
The other option is providing him only a ftp account to upload files only to the particular directory for that project. But the problem with this is that then he cannot setup a database etc. on his own, he needs to provide me sql script which i then use to create the database from the control panel.
Can a reseller hosting account solve my problem..... seperate control panel (administrate all things like databse, mail, password protecting files) for each site?
Any other suggestions, this is the first time i bought hosting.
Any reading material(books or online) to get familiar with each aspect of running and managing a website(mailservers, security, dns for site, backups etc. etc.)?
Please help.
yes, in this case reseller hosting account give you a best choice to setup a separate account for every your domain (including email, ftp, mysql accounts)
I have used one good reseller plan http://www.viphostzone.com/reseller/
before start own server and this plan features ability to separate access to every your domain with own cpanel control panel for every domain/user
How much should I charge to make a website for a friend?
Hello,
YAY!
I got my first web design project. This is for a friend, and I dont intend to charge full price, but frankly I dont know what to charge.
Basically this friend is a Psychologist and the project sounds easy. Basically a 5-page site - a simple template, and she will provide the text.
She wants me to register the URL, get the hosting set up, and put the site together. I have my own reseller account so basically the hosting will be free for her -or I can charge a nominal fee. build it into the cost. I dont know if I should charge her a hourly rate or just one flat price for everything, but the entire site should probably take a day to do.
I figure that I want to do a few of these to build up my portfolio and go from there. And since she is a friend, my thinking is that I wont gouge her with the price or anything. But I really dont know what would be a fair price. What do you suggest? She has another friend who is talking about getting a website and her husband also has a small business but no site.. So this could be the beginning of something..
Oh another question. How much space should I allot for a site like this? I was thinking 100 MB is more than enough. 5 web pages using the same template - some photos - maybe one flash animation - but that is it..
Thanks much
A token fee is more than appropriate for your first work.
Charge $120 for one year's Web hosting plus the domain. Charge $130 for the site itself. That makes it $250 all said and told. If she's any kind of psychiatrist, that means two appointments out of her pocket.
100MB is more than enough for a brochure Web site.
need help finding out how to do this...?
I want to have a hosting company JUST like this with simple website builders and easy to use features. What company are these guys using and reselling to their customers or what is a good hosting reseller with shoopping cart software?
www.merchantmoms.com
GoDaddy has an excellent reseller program, fully brandable, etc.
Domain Suspended?
Tried getting my emails from my domain for the past 3 days but this message appears when I type in my site address to view my website;
"This account has been suspended.
Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources."
Who do I contact in regards to getting my domain back the company who owns the domain name or my the company that does my hosting?
That message is typically generated by the hosting provider. I'd check with the website hosting provider first before contacting your domain provider, and that's if they're separate.
Two common reasons that message occurs is either due to a billing issue, or your website is using "too much" of your allotted resources by your host. Your host can give more specifics.
