Multi Domain Hosting
Hosting multi-user blog site - Joomla???
Ok Ill ask again.. I want to make a website that can host multiuser blogs..
So people can visit my website and log in and blog all they want and comment on others blogs etc.
I have a domain host and a database allowing mysql and phpadmin etc. However Im not sure which database would be best to use. I tried Worpress but I found it afterwards it wasnt what I was looking for (as the description above) and i have just installed joomla? Is this what Im looking for?? where can I get a good blog component that will do what I mentioned above... perferably for free..
Joomla is really good. You should check out the extensions at www.joomla.org - most of these are free. There is one called Community Builder which possibly does what you want. You can try it out at the Community Builder website - http://www.joomlapolis.com
I'm really into Joomla - it's really great.

http://www.games16.com
the offer from my FREE webhost was 100GB space with 1000GB bandwidth

Web design people, HELP! Should I attempt to design my own Web page??
I recently bought a domain name name and Web hosting through MidPhase, but I'm so confused I'm thinking about just scrapping it (I'm still in the 30-day money back guarantee time frame). I know basic HTML, but all the zillion folders on the control panel confuse me. And I tried to upload a WordPress template-- but that still hasn't panned out. I'm a college journalist, and I'm trying to get more tech savvy so I can someday get a job in print or multi-media journalism. Since I'm just getting my feet wet with this stuff, should I just opt for a domain name and host from something like uber.com? I know that means less street cred, but I'm a rookie and I think that would probably help me actually get something online instead of abandoning the project altogether. What I don't like though is that through Uber my domain name can't be FirstnameLastname.com
What do you think?
BTW, Uber.com is a Web design tool in which you don't have to play with your own codes. Is does the bulk of the work for you (that's my understanding of it). But their pages look nice!
You can learn it at w3schools.com or else you may contact a web designer at website like http://definitivelab.com/ .

What is the best and most cost effective way to host multiple domain websites?
I have limited but improving web design skills and I want to create and upload several websites for my wife's business, to help generate sales leads for her.
I have already purchased the domain names and will be using either FrontPage or Dreamweaver to create the sites ... how do I go about uploading the sites and can anyone offer any advice on multi-domain hosting?
I am particularly interested to know of multiple domain hosting based in Australia ... unless it really doesn't matter if it's in the same country as I am!
I actually bought my domains through GoDaddy.com (an American site).
Hi
A good hosting company will offer a reseller account, so you can add as many domains and websites as you want for an annual fee. You can then be a virtual host and offer this as a service for your customers.

I had a one page WORD document attached. This is a NEW CLIENT and I am unable to reach her by hotmail!!!!!!!
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at yahoo.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.

Have you tried sending her an email without an attachment? Is this a one time thing? Or have you had multiple problems with sending emails to this client?
Reading the reasons for return, it's possible that your IP address or domain name has a reputation for sending spam. Whether or not it's true is irrelevant, at least now. There's not a lot that can be done about that. However, if you are able to send an email withOUT an attachment, then there may be a problem with the attachment itself. Does it use any macros? Have you scanned the file to make sure there are no unintentional viruses (virii???) attached?
Is there another email address you can use to send this client this file?
