Are dedicated diabetes websites helpful? How do they help you manage diabetes?


Many are. Especially those run by organizations such as a hospital or the ADA. There are some run by individuals that are pretty good as well, but then there are a few which are not (they usually have an agenda, such as herbal cures that they also sell - if you browse a lot of sites and review their information, you can spot them). Besides information, several have forums and chat rooms, too. www.diabetes.org I believe has quite a few. As for how they help you manage your diabetes, access to current information (from a credible source) and being able to connect with others who share your concerns enables a person to feel less isolated in their struggle.

What do you think of Marcello Lippi or Jose Mourinho for El Tri?
Lippi won the World cup with Italy and seems to be an honest and dedicated manager. Mourinho managed Chelsea and has sufficient knowledge of the English style (speed and ruggedness) which might help out Mexico a bit since they already have the skill and technical ability. What do you think of these two guys?

Not speaking on grounds of health . I am asking about daily life : the smell, the smoke, the ashtrays etc.etc. Do you manage well or is this a ..sensitive issue between you two??

i would mind it a little..i don't like the smell...i wouldn't like to see ash everywhere..it would bother me...especially cause of the health thing but if lets just say smoking wasn't bad for health i would like it if he smoked outside my house not in it.. !!

(First of all, people who critique your grammar and spelling should really check their own!) Your is an elaborate story but, like everyone else has indicated, it seems to meander along to some unknown destination. In other words, where is the story going? What is the message? It seems to me that you could use this as a good start to getting your words on paper-but not as a finished product. Sometimes it helps to disect your work paragraph by paragraph--take a close look at the point of view and make adjustments accordingly. Do you think this might work for you as a "diary" of sorts?? How do I deal with depression?
I am 17 years old, For the past 3 years I have managed to earn over 458k all anonymously. Recently due to fraudgulent actions by the U.S government my account was frozen and all funds confincated and thats it, thousands others lost all their money as well and there is a 0% chance of regaining the money. I sit here now terribly depressed, There is nothing left to go on for. I dedicated my life to earning money and I quit school / moved out of parents house (On a bad note) This is the darkest hour I have ever faced. I have no friends to talk to so I have restorted to this. I know some people are thinking that I am 17 and I have plently of chances to start again. I understand this but I've lost all hope in living at the moment. My real question is.... How do I get over this feeling that it is all over for me? I don't know what to do with myself.

Well, if there is 0% chance of regaining the money, you have to move on.Earn more money...legally! And, if you need someone to talk to, look in your phone book. There are usually free clinics or even an 800 number to call. If not, contact a church and ask for their help. You do not have to give your name out to talk.You are 17 years old. How many wars have been won by putting it through a committee? Or by having it run by politicians?
I have gone back in my history books and I can't find one war ever won because politicians were in charge of how the war was fought... Maybe I am missing something. I mean I looked as far back as Julius Caesar. Even out numbered by General Pompey and his senate allies; Caeser managed to beat them because the politicians like Cato, tried to exert control over the more experienced Pompey. It seems like it is a good idea to have civilian control of the military if a country desires to be strong yet successful in a defensive posture. In the Cuban Missile Crisis, it seems as if the US military Joint Chiefs of Staff were very willing to be provoked into war, but President Kennedy, his brother, and other advisers had a better way of solving what was a very dangerous provocation of the Soviet Union placing medium range nuclear warhead missiles in Cuba.

How do you track a Pedophile?
In Australia, they managed to track pedophiles (or more accurately, they caught adults with child porn), but my question is HOW they did so. I mean, there are surely porn sites dedicated to children, so how did the police/trackers track them down? Do the police have access to every single person's internet history? Otherwise, how did they track these people?

It's pretty simple, really, to identify the persons who accessed a website once the server is located. Web servers maintain a log of all communications. These logs include the IP address of every session and the date and time. Most ISPs will cooperate with the authorities when asked to identify the customer who had that IP address at that specific date and time. Yes, ISPs do maintain that information. That is only one way that they are identified. Several years ago I was working at a computer shop. A machine came in with what appeared to be kiddie porn on it. We turned it over to the police. Evidence on that machine lead to coordinated raids in at least 6 countries and several hundred arrests. Many paeodophiles hang out in chat rooms, both to exchange porn and to attract victims. The often pose as young children. Police also lurk in these chat rooms attempting to trap the scum. Forensic software makes it possible to backtrack the IP address in real time. Although many of these perverts use "anonymous" proxies to try to hide their true IP address, operators of commercial proxies will always coorperate with authorities. The operators of rogue proxies will virtually always cave in when threatened with charges of aiding and abetting child pornography. There is no true anonymity on the net. If you are just a curious citizen wondering how we do what we do, now you have an idea. If you are "one of them" be forewarned: We WILL track you down and get you. Be very afraid when you hear that car slowly rolling by at 2:00 AM. It just might be "The Old Bill" coming for your 'puter.

Is it possible to explain the advantages of purebred dogs to the average person?
Let's see... Say you're at the grocery store. You're looking for Campbel's Chicken Noodle soup. What you find is aisle after aisle of cans w/ NO labels. You can buy 6 different cans(spending MONEY-lol),haul them home & open each for supper. One is pumpkin. One is beans. One is soup but it's beef. One is peaches(& you happen to like peaches). One is mackerel(& you HATE it). One IS chicken soup but NOT Campbell's & NOT w/noodles. So,you back to the store & HOPE to find another can of peaches....HOW? With me so far? With purebred dogs from reputable/ethical/responsible breeders(Yes,we're out there)every time you go for a particular breed,that's what you'll get. Those traits you're looking for have been locked in by long hard work,centuries of hard work by dedicated people...to get that recipe right & ALWAYS coming out the same. Did I manage to get that across? Probably not...folks don't want their fallicies pointed out to them. LMAO!! I *KNEW* IT!! Don't want you little fantasy world-view shaken by FACTS. What is the best software to create sick music beats?
After 4 years of High School, another 4 of college, law school, and several internships at prestegious organizations - I've decided that I want to spend the rest of my life dedicated to bring sick beats to the world. They're in my head all the time anyway - I want to try to get them out there. But I don't know what tools I can use. Any suggestions? If I DO manage to make the amazing beats...what would be the first step in getting them out there and to make money off of them? Anyone?

Cubase and Logic are the two most common ones. I'm told Cubase is preferred by Sound Engineers and techie types whereas logic is favoured by musicians making fuc*ed up beats.
