What small block chevrolet intake manifold style works with World Products Sportsman IIs?
I have a set of Sportsman IIs going on a 350 - is the correct intake manifold a vortech or non-vortech? They are 011250s - 64cc straight plug - not ported. They are going onto a 350 st bore with a TBD cam - all in a 3300 lb Nova for street use.

it would help if you posted the part numbers, but all world products sportsman II heads are none vortech heads. world products dose make vortech heads, but it will be stamped right on the the heads ( vortech ) and i wish i could tell you just what intake will go good with those heads, but i would need to know the part number is to those heads, what cam you have or are going to use, and what motor as in , year and what it come out of? the year wouldve helped as well, but if this motor is before 1986 i would use edelbrock performer rpm/air gap part# EDL-2601 if its 87 or newer part# EDL-2604 both are from summitracing.com thats the best intake for your heads with the motor set up you have as there not much dont to it from what you posted. this intake makes power from idle to 5,500rpm. o ya and those are NOT vortech heads...

Is there an free alternative to IIS for Windows XP Home for my website?
Microsoft doesn't include IIS for Win XP Home Edition SP2. As I don't have the server I can't check my Dreamweaver website which I've nearly completed, so is there an alternative or free server I can download?

Apache, but if you get it from http://httpd.apache.org, get the MSI installer... it eases the configuration process. You might also want to consider the XAMP bundle if you want to do any dynamic website designs... it gives you Apache, MySQL, and PHP all in one installer... http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html

How do i use the music i placed in my o2 xda iis as ringtones?

Browse to the file use file explorer. When file is highlighted, click menu, "use as ring tone". You are done. Remember, the file will be copied to the windows/rings folder which is on the device memory which is limited. Make sure you do not place too many files there or your mobile will slow down.

How do I host Infopath 2007 browser enabled forms in IIS server?
I have created the from using Infopath 2007 and is browser enabled. I also have an IIS server setup for me. What configuration in the IIS server need to be done in order to have this web form running for our intranet? Only intranet, not for internet. I do not have Sharepoint server, the reason why I asked about IIS. Any other views are welcomed.

i've used infopath with SharePoint, and from what I remember you just copy the files over. it's just that your users have to have Infopath installed in order to view the forms correctly.

How do you install and configure IIS on your computer?
I'm trying to get IIS on my laptop. When I go into Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs>Add/Remove Windows Components, IIS isn't there. Is there any other way I can install it? I'm running Windows XP Home Edition on an HP Pavilion zd8000. If I were to use Apache, would I be able to use VisualStudio .net 2003 still?

To the moron that answered "use apache instead"... get a life. Apache doesn't run the .Net framework the way IIS does. As for your answer, IIS is not available on WinXP home edition, you have to use WindowsXP Pro.

How can i instal IIS on WindowsXP? Can I run it with XAMPP at the same time?
I have WindowXP home edition SP2. IIS is not a part of operation system components. How can install IIS?

IIS is only available on Windows 2000, Windows XP Pro and Windows Server 2003, (and probably Vista Ultimate Edition, but don't know for sure). You can not install it on XP Home. If you truly need to install a web server on your computer, which you really shouldn't do unless you know what your doing (especially if that computer connects to the internet) then check out Apache which is a much better web server then IIS is anyway.

Do Apache+IIS tell databases that a client has closed their browser session so their query should be aborted?
I've lost count of the number of times I have closed my client browser because I requested a search I didn't need. When I do this, do popular webservers (IIS, Apache) tell popular attached database systems (like MsSQL, MySQL, Oracle) to abort the search process or does it carry on running until completion/timeout? Is this standard functionality or does it rely on the programmer writing it in to the script?

If you're asking what I think you are asking, does the database stop executing a query if you close a connection to it (which will happen if the IIS session stops, depending on if you are using things like ODBC connection pooling, Permanent conections in PHP etc) I don't *think* it would... However, the issue is somewhat negligable because if you are running a query which takes a significant amount of time and is run every time someone makes a page request you should be looking at a new/better cache implimentation.

How do I access another computer with IIS which connects to the Internet via a Wireless Router?
I want my 3G phone to access my computer. However I type the IP address of my computer which has IIS running but the same computer also connects to the Internet through a Wireless Router. I am not using the Local IP (192.168.0.1) I am using the ADSL IP number provided by my ISP. But it doesn't respond.

You need to set up port forwarding on your router to forward port 80 to the local IP of your computer.
