How To Register A Domain Name

Where can I register a domain name for cheap?
I already have a hosting package and only need to register a domain name then point the dns to the right place. Where can I register a name for less than $7-$10? Ok, i guess I have to explain more. I need a .com domain name. And as I said before I already have a hosting package, so godaddy is $8.95, its only $1.99 if you host with them.

Everyone who has answered here so far has great suggestions, but please be careful when going to low cost domain name registrars! Anyone who owned a domain name through Registerfly most likely lost their domain, or had to go through lots of headache trying to get it back. It's worth a few bucks to stick with a company that is well respected in the industry. Network Solutions, Register.com, and GoDaddy are the way to go. Of these 3 options, GoDaddy is probably your best bet.
