Host Multiple Domains
Is it possible to host multiple domains off the same space/bandwidth account?
I have godaddy right now and to start a second website they want me to pay for another hosting account with its own bandwidth and disk space. I'm not using all of the disk space on my first account and my first website is using up its bandwidth slowly. I'd much rather have 1 account with multiple domains pointing to different folders in that account and just get 1 disk space/bandwidth bill, is this possible to do? If so what companies out there offer this (I'm in the states btw) at a fair price?
you need a mutiple domain host like http://www.JuicyHosting.com
Hosting multiple domains with Yahoo! hosting account?
I just signed up for Yahoo! hosting and have a feeling that I made a big mistake... I have more than one domain I would like to host, unfortunately, the only way to do this seems to be via forwarding them to sub domains linked to the primary domain associated with my Yahoo! hosting package. Do I have any other options? Domain forwarding via masking is simply not an acceptable solution, considering their asking price...
Just cancel the account and choose some other host which allows multiple domain hosting.
I recommend Dreamhost http://www.dreamhost.com/hosting.html
They're the best:
1. You get a free domain from them (actually 2 if you use the promo code, more about that later), or you can use one of these free domains to transfer your existing one to Dreamhost, and extend its' registration for one more year, all for free of course.
2. They have 500 GB of Disk Space and increasing
3. 5TB (5000 GB) of Bandwidth and increasing
4. You can use their huge Disk Space and host multiple sites on a single account.
5. Their price is $119.40/year ($9.95/month if you pay yearly)
6. Which is a pretty standard price but they currently have a promotion:
Use the Promo Code: PLUS (at sign up page) and get a $50 discount + 2 Free Domain Names
7. This way you get them for $69.40/year ($5.78/month) including 2 Free Domain Names!
P.S. If you're willing to pay $20+/monthly for a webhost I recommend:
1. http://www.mediatemple.com
2. http://www.slicehost.com

Can I have Multiple Domains Pointed to One Hosting server or do i need to get a separate host for each.?
No you can have multiple domain name redirected to your web host.
If your host allows you sub domains then you can have it pointed to the subdomain and it should show up mysite2.com and not mysite2.mysite1.com
what is the best hosting account for multiple domains?
Thanks..
http://www.JuicyHosting.com is the best
Website hosting?? How to do with multiple domains??
at our company we have a small server computer and it has 9 different domains. We want to host 9 different websites (or maybe similar websites), 1 website per domain. I guess they really want to just put the same website but each domain have its own individual copy of that website (hope you understand?). How can this be done? 9 domains, the same company website, individual for each domain. Thanks!
Use .htaccess or else you may contact a web developer at website like http://definitivelab.com/ to set it up for you.
