Was the accident his fault? Does he have comprehensive insurance? Was the accident someone else's fault? Were they insured? Was he the driver? Was he a passenger? As the injury occurred in a MVA (motor vehicle accident), his or the other person's insurance may cover this. Your brother may want to contact his auto insurance agent (or the driver's agent, if he was a passenger) to see about this! As another poster suggested, the local Department of Human Services or the local County or State Health Department may have an updated list of free dental clinics.

My friend has a website on one of those free website severs but we all know that they put ads on it. I figured out how to get rid of the ads on the website it self using CSS but I don't know how to get rid of the pop up ads. The pop up ads are placed there using Javascript. I want to get rid of the pop up ads on the website so no one will be annoyed by it.

I know this is a facetious question, but the answer is no. It is better to prevent anyone from having their feet severed than it is to allow market forces to eventually stop the severing.

because you have a pop up blocker. due to yahoo having all of these new ads, your computer is "catching" them all, and it "thinks" the games are ads!! funny, huh? just turn off your pop up blocker. that should do the trick but, if you have already turned off your pop up blocker, try this. when you're just going join a table, click on options, then click box next to small windows. some people also hold down the Ctrl button at the same time as clicking on a table. ever since they have started supplying ads they have been having a lot of problems. i really think that with the amount of people saying they have been banned, or they can't get in a room, or they can't play that it can't just be a "user" problem. it's a "yahoo's changing things around & messing things up right now" thing. hopefully, really soon, it will get better... you might also need to install java.

How do atoms get their electrons back when they lose them to make electricity?
If electricity is the movement of free electrons across a conductor. Does the conductor or element (such as copper) change since it's losing electrons? or does the atom create more electrons on it's own? I'm thinking that the electricity cycles in a loop which means that the electrons are constantly returning to it's original atom. But when you get arc's or when a power line is cut and the loop is severed, how do the atoms get their electrons back?

How and when did I get a bacterial upper respiratory infection?
I haven't been around anyone sick and I felt fine yesterday. Today, I'm sick as a dog and ended up in the ER. I've been diagnosed with a sever bacterial infection which has infantrated my sinuses, both ears, throat, larynx, and lungs. I'm also being treated for a urinary tract infection due to acute side pains. How long is the incubation period? I went to bed symptom free and woke up miserable at 4 AM. How is this spread? Is it from another person or environmental? I would have asked my doctor all this, but the laryngitus has K.O. my ability to speak without pain.

bacterial incubation period ranges from a few hours to a days..and respiratory infection always mean that u got them from the air (for very small bacterias) or by direct contact (when somebody sneezed in front of u) bacterias are floating in the air all the time, so its very normal to get respiratory infection. the latter goes on,from ur nasal mucosa to larynx/pharynx,then to bronchus up till alveoli, thus infecting all of ur respiratory tract. i think u had bacteremia, sinceu said it was severe, thats why ure having UTI. bacteria get into the blood stream from ur respiratory tract and attacks other organs,in ur case,urinary tract.

Why is Canada still connected and beneath the crown of the UK?
Just out of curiosity, I mean, Canada still has a QUEEN in the 21st century!!! This is still supporting the "New Imperialism" of the 18th and 19th centuries! Canada doesn't really do anything subservient to the UK so why not sever the tie and BECOME YOUR OWN COUNTRY! Be free from a monarch like the USA! I personally think it's a little pathetic. It's our country and it works better than any other country that I know of so take your crappy attitude and take a hike! Edit to Charlie: I do not know the definitive answer to that but When Mr. Trudeau brought the Constitution home, that was the agreement made between Canada and Britain. I do not recall there being much flack from English Canadians about it, nor really from French Canadians. They had their demands true enough but they were more about keeping French Canada French than in changing the structure of the entire set up. And the Separatists of the day just wanted to separate and could not have cared less about what the rest of us did with the Queen or didn't do with her. My attitude right now is, it ain't broke, it works fine so why waste money trying to fix it.

Does any one know of treatment for severe case of severs disease?
My daughter was diagnosed with severe Severs Disease in July 07 following a period of severe pain and being unable to weight bear, by August it had improved a little and she was again able to walk until November when it returned, she was then unable to weight bear for 8 weeks and suffered terrible pain being worse at night. It then improved again for about 5 weeks during this time she was practically pain free. 5 weeks ago it flared up again, she is once more in agony and can't get to sleep at night because of painful spasms in the foot and is uable to weight bear. She is taking codeine and paracetamol, has had a cast, this had to be removed due to foot swelling/pressure. I am aware of what causes the disease and it is definately linked to her growth, but does anyone know of other treatments.

hey, i have also had severe severs disease. i am 13 right now but mine lasted more then 2 years. i was in fyber cast 2 weeks on one legs then switch to the other leg 2 weeks for many months. i also use a cane because my arms were hurting. i also sat up sleepless nights. what helped me the most was to know it was OK to be mad and not have every one say it is going to be ok. i know it was going to be but i need to cry every once and awhile. my advise is to let your daughter know you are there for her but also give some space for her to think thing over. i had tryed many treatments one was accupunture. it help alot. also yoga. i hope for the best for her and i know what you are going though and it does come to an end the pain. try to find a activty or something to do when she cant go to sleep. i read alot and to educate her about the disease. hope this helps you!
