whats a good free FTP that i can setup im my computer?
Im trying to setup an ftp server on a spare computer so i can access files from my ftp any where online. i need a free ftp host program know of any cool ones? im running XP home. Thanks!
i use filezilla it's very good and is based on a Unix type interface. you can find it on sourceforge.net
Free FTP Hosting?
I'm looking for at least 1 GB and unlimited bandwidth. I'm just hosting files, not web pages.

What is the best free hosting service to display a personal family site that also supports ftp transfer?
I know free is not the best option, but i am planning on upgrading eventually, once my family site is big enough.

They offer amazing free hosting which in my opinion is better than some paid services I have seen in the past. You have free access to all the options you would ever want (MySQL, PHP, Perl, FTP, postgresql, custom error pages, the list goes on and on). You do need a domain name though so make sure you have one. Send them an email and ask for the free plan, its worth it.

Size doesn't matter, though the bigger the better. Already tried Atspace, it wouldn't work for me. I got bravehost to work and it was perfect. Now I'm just looking for a second host to back-up what I already have, should bravehost crash.
