You could use Webs, also known as Freewebs. http://freewebs.com You have two options for the name of your site. 1. freewebs.com/yoursitehere or 2. yoursite.webs.com It is very trustworthy. You can either use an HTML layout that you have, or pick a pre-made one.

I felt the same way exactly. It took me forever to figure this out but here it is-- 1. Go to dot.tk 2. Type in your sub-domain 3. Click in the "The web address will be renamed to..." bar and type in the name of your site, then .tk ( Ex: hollygurl.tk (( which is mine). You can also do nameofyoursite.com/net/org.tk 4. Type in the characters in the picture 5. Click "Next" 6. Select "Free domain" and click "next" 7.Register 8. Verify through e-mail Ta-da! Now you have your very own website and domain name 100 percent free of charge!

I have been following these types of questions for a while, and often people suggest: Freeservers (Angelfire, Geocities, Freewebs, etc.) Domain redirections (.tk, .co.nr, etc.) Domain refer links (Those point sites or whatever where you have to refer a thousand people to get something) Paid domain services (Godaddy, etc.) Microsoft live (I heard that you need a credit card, and well, I'd be cautious about getting "free" stuff from Microsoft anyway...Also, I heard that it's for small businesses only or something... And of course there's people like me, who know what you want, and know that you can't get it for free, and are telling you the cold hard truth.
