Fantastico Cpanel

Cpanel Fantastico Enquiry.?
Hi Guys. I'm a webmaster for a certain website, and the interface i'm using to upload fies is Cpanel. The package bought had cpanel, bundled with Fantastico. Fantastico offers a wide range of applications which can be installed into my domain name account, taking up some of the available server space provided. I'm ok with this. The only problem is, i do not know how to link the applications to my webpages. My webpages are in .html format so, i'm not sure if i need to use a .php format instead to "embed" the applications from fantastico into my webpage. Can someone advise me on how to "embed" these applications into webpages? Many thanks, Isaac.

The application from Fantastico have their own webpages, so you just need to create a link from your primary webpage to the application web page. If you really do need to "embed" it to your webpage, I think you can use IFRAME

after installing WordPress using Cpanel and Fantastico, all i see is the parent directory. what gives?
i chose not to install to root directory www.djcharliehood.com and allowed the install to create and install to the directory named "Blog." But after clicking 'finish install' i am not taken to the wordpress page to log in. If i go to address djcharliehood.com/blog, all i see is the parent directory of files. after scrolling thru, i was able to click on wp-admin folder, and find the log in page (the index file) that lead me to the Wordpress dashboard. tried to publish a test blog, and view it.....boom takes me back to the parent directory. my viewing of the page after changing my theme doesn't change either. i watched youtube and seen other create using cpanel and fantastico de luxe and they were immediately taken to the Wordpress dashboard after creation.

I find that not using the default install settings,(not installing to the root in your case) usually causes more trouble than it is worth. I would uninstall and reinstall to the root and it will probably work fine. My 2 cents

Joomla! configuration.php unwriteable. What can I do to fix this?
I'm new to all of this and I don't know how to change the permissions, file manager under cpanel under fantastico doesn't appear to be it.. Any help is much appreciated!

This may seem like a lot to do just to change the file permissions, but consider it a plug for FireFox! :) Download Firefox - http://www.mozilla.com Download fireftp (ftp plugin for firefox) - http://fireftp.mozdev.org/ Start Firefox Under Tools select FireFTP Where it says "Manage Accounts" select New... Enter in your ftp account details. Log into your account - you should see the files in the right panes. Navigate to the file you want to change permissions on. Right click (or left click if your a lefty) and select properties. You should now see a window displaying permissions for Owner, Group and Public. Adjust your permissions and if at all possible switch them back when your done! (You may not want to if your setting up an upload directory). The Data Analyst - http://www.squidoo.com/thedataanalyst

Image troubles in Joomla?
Hey all, okay I've scoured the internet to no avail, so here's the dilemma. I've recently created a new instance of Joomla through fantastico deluxe on cpanel. Now when I'm trying to put images into content articles, the backend UI in Joomla does everything it should, but when you look at the final result, the images don't show up - what am I doing wrong!? the site in question is www.standrews-online.co.uk Ta for ANY help at all cause I'm foxed!

I can see them. Only observations are that mainpic is rather large (57 KB) and will be slow to load on dial-up. Then, you use frames which does not work with some browsers,
