Domain Name Search

Need A Recommended Bulk Domain Name Search Engine Submission Service For 200 Domain Names To Be Submited?
Have about 200 domain names and need a company that will submit each domain each month to the top search engines. I cant seem to find one and it is alot of work to individually submit each one

This is seen as spamming by most search engines and will have a negative affect on your rankings. You want search engines to find and index your site based on them finding you from incoming links to your site. Finding someone to do this for you, would prove to be atleast a waste of money, if not worse, negatively affecting your rankings.

Does the Domain Name Affect Search Engine Ranking?
If so, then should I make the domain name descriptive of what my site is about and do hyphens matter?

The search engines do not so clearly indicate their algorithms for ranking websites. And actually they are not the only ones you need to keep in mind. If you are selling jewelry and your domain name is snow-board-heaven than independent of what SEs will do that may not be a good choice. It's up to you to decide whether you create a mall where many different items are sold and hence the name can no longer be product specific. A totally different consideration is: Do you need SE Ranking to get a good placement or do you have other means of getting a high PR.

What is the name of those websites/search pages that are up on what were once expired domain names?
I don't know how to ask this question (wording). But maybe someone has an idea of what I'm talking about. You go to maybe a misspelled domain name or an expired domain name and it's an annoying search/ad page. What are these pages called?

Parked Pages. There are parking companies such as Sedo.com or Parked.com that build and host the page at no cost to the owner of the domain name. Income is generated from the advertising links on the page and is split between the parking company and the domain name owner.

Domain name and search engines?
When creating a website does the actual .com domain name hold high importance with regard to search engines? Or is the websites' actual content (i.e. page titles, content, etc) what shows up from search engines rather than the domain name itself?

>When creating a website does the actual .com domain name hold high importance with regard to search engines? Not high importance but it can help. This is because when someone links to your site one of the important factors is the anchor text and quite a few unsolicited links will simply have the url as the anchor e.g. yourdomain.com If you have a single keyword domain or a hyphenated keyword domain then there will be an advantage because your keywords will automatically be in the anchor text. The disadvantage is that at any time hyphenated urls may be considered spammy by Google. For example cheapest-ink-jet-printers-in-the so keep to one or two hyphens at the most. Also hyphenated domains are not good for 'branding' but if you have no intention of branding then go for the hyphenated url. If anyone tells you that Google can read keywords in concatenated urls get them to read this http://www.seo-blog.com/keywords-in-urls.php >Or is the websites' actual content (i.e. page titles, content, etc) what shows up from search engines All these are important factors and there are a lot more. Why are there listings on search engines for what I have a domain name for - What is the purpose of having it?
What I mean is this : owning a domain name and a site, like "somethinginformation.com" and listing it with search engines, doesn't mean you will get a good listing. Meanwhile, tons of nothing sites with nothing to say and only products to sell will get listed also, so what's the point? Is it just to sell the name someday?

The sites the rank for terms on google and yahoo that seem to be garbage sites with ads, are in the rankings because the people who own them know SEO. There are people who own 50,000 domains for the type in traffic. If you spend $400,000 a year on domain names, 100,000 on hosting and have each site do $5 a month in ads, that's $250,000 a month $3,000,000 a year that's why

how do i publish domain name in major search directories like Google, yahoo and msn?
my sister is doing avon and she has a website but when someone goes to google or yahoo and types in avon i want her website to come up.

That's not quite easy, when you go to Google, what first comes up is avon.com and then another 43,500,000 pages. So you need to know well what you do if you really wish to be there. Why not something easier like "avon mytown" ? Anyway if you have no idea about search engine optimization and marketing you should first start to read about the theme. There is a bit to know that nobody can tell you just like a cooking recipe.
