Is there a place to advertise a domain name for sale?
Hi, I was wondering if any of you in the Y!A community can recommend a place where I can advertise a domain for sale. I've currently got an auction on ebay for a decent name ending soon, and I'd like to get more traffic to my auction. I am willing to pay, but I'd prefer it to be under $50 (the auction is only 2 more days long). Any tips are appreciated.

Or use a paid mailing list inclusion, like namebio.com , nameclerk, or similar - that will get the name in front of hundreds of domainers.

How much to counter offer on a domain name for sale?
The person offered the full price I had listed on my domain. BUT I received aonther offer since then. So I counter offered back 1500 more..This is new for me, is that too much? thanks

Depends how much they need it. For instance, How much is a 1740 Wedgewood Vase? Answer: exactly how much the other person is willing to pay. You could always follow up with a "how was that" Email if they don't respond, and work downwards, you can't work upwards.

How can I sell a domain name to a famous person without the sale being broadcast on TV or the newspapers?
I want to registar a domain name. This name will be of a famous person & I hope to sell it to this person. How can I do it in such a way so that the TV & newspapers do not find out about it.? What has happened to Imagefap. I have tried to log in with no luck. I have heard the domain name is for sale.?
I have tried IE7, firefox and opera and they all come back with site not found. Have tried on 3 different PC's on three different connections and they all come back the same.

Imagefap.ws is for sale, not imagefap.com.. The web site has been undergoing changes, but this doesn't seem to be affecting members much according to the blogs there at any rate.. Mentioned changes being implemented that were proposed by members, which, could theoretically include a ban on lurkers - guessing on my part.. If you're a member then you shouldn't really have a problem and it's supposed to be more firefox friendly now, in which case you could have a trojan/virus. But that's just a guess on my part.. Web proxies are your best bet - http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtml - as they don't have a problem getting through there (but can any really be trusted - hence my suspicions about hackers..)

The website http://cybergamez.us is currently being parked on sedo.com. This domain is for sale (formerly a website). There is no need for me to tell you much stats as they are on the parked page. The domain receives #1 search rank for its term (cybergamez) and in the top 3 on google for many others. The website made over US$100 a month with only one ad service. The domain was only put on sale from Jan 01 so that stats would really only be from there, so no mind how low it may seem for the "31 days given". The domain has a lot of potential but I just don’t have the time anymore the maintain it. That is the reason for this sale. If the sale doesn’t go through, I still won’t abandon it though.

Isn't advertising on this site frowned upon?
