Free web hosting for Google adsense?
I'm looking into creating a website dedicated to free samples and the like. (freebie fanatic, I know) I wanted to host Google adsense ads, but I wanted to use free hosting to start with. Does anyone know of a free website host that will allow me to put the Google adsense on there? The ones I've looked at so far won't allow it because they already use the adsense themselves.

How do I move my website from a dedicated server?
A website of mine was created by a company about 7 months ago and is on a dedicated server that they are hosting. I have ftp access to the site, so I can make changes to content and move files around easily. However I am running into problems when it comes to installing a wordpress blog due to the fact that it is on the dedicated server. The problem is that I don't trust this company anymore. They have performed very subpar work and they charged me too much for it. I want FULL control over every aspect of my website and I do not want to even talk to them anymore as I am very upset with them. It is an Oscommerce site and I also want to be able to add on contributions etc. By simply having access to FTP, am I able to copy my site and upload it to another host? What else will I have to do and will the site function properly if I move it from the dedicated server? Sorry for all the questions, but these guys are trying to take me for a ride, and I am DONE with it!

There's also a question of ownership. Did your original contract with them call for a completely deliverable website? In other words, a site that you own all code and content of. Or do they still retain copywrite of the code, graphics, logos, etc? If you have full owner ship and paid the full fee for the original, then they have no option but to give you everything and allow you to move it. If not, you may have bigger issues than copying files.

My website with 3,000+ visitors per day keeps going down / freezing / "CGI Limit Reached"?
I have a website hosted with Netfirms with the "Advantage" plan... I should have up to 2,000,000GB (2TB) of bandwidth per month, and I'm only using a max of 300GB a month (about 5GB to 15GB a day)... but it seems that every other time I load a page, the site is DOWN.. also I had a peak of about 20,000 visitors a day for a bit, and then not only was it slow, but it would randomly replace images with the words "CGI limit reached"... This is clearly UNACCEPTABLE considering that I'm paying for much MUCH more. ..any help? Does Netfirms just suck? They just auto-renewed by bill so I'm not eager to switch.. More info: I'm using simple PHP on all pages.. just basic "includes" and "if statements" and "get/post variables" and such. I had an .htaccess file but I deleted it and nothing changed. It's not a dedicated host, because that would cost more than the site makes..

How can I create a "forum" type website?

i SOMEhow stumbled upon this scarleteen site without even looking for it. i personally havent asked any questions on the site but it does already have a lot of info. i was on there for about half an hour just looking up questions & such. its a pretty easy to understand site seeing as how its for teens. hope that helped :)
