Dedicated Ip Hosting
Will hosting my website with GoDaddy effect my search engine ranking? Would a dedicated IP address help?
No the hosting service does not affect the search engines view of the site. As long as the SE spiders can access it via an IP address then that's fine.
A dedicated address does not help either as far as the SEs are concerned but there are other good reasons for having a dedicated IP.

What is a Dedicated IP Address ?
A hosting company offers that on its gold packet. I am thinking to go for the silver packet which is cheaper. Am I going to loose much if I don't have a dedicated IP ?
I am planning to have some joomla sites in that host's servers.
No. A dedicated IP means your internet connection (at your modem, for example) has the same IP all the time.
Unless you're running a server and need to access it from the outside, you don't need a static IP.
Security advantages of a static/dedicated IP address?
What are the advantages of a static/dedicated IP address when choosing a hosting package for an online store?
Thanks.
In addition to that, what are the advantages of dedicated SSL?
Take a look at the following link to get useful information regarding your question: http://www.goldpuma.com, then from "web hosting" menu, choose "dedicated ip".
Good Luck!
do I need to have a dedicated IP to rank well in search engines? or can I do without it?
I am at the bluehost website and it says they dont give a dedicated IP. Am i at a disadvantage without this? my domain is hosted at godaddy. thanks in advance
You're fine without it. While it's true that it is a search factor, it is a very minor one. It's really only important for people who are linking to their own sites from their other sites.
Dedicated IP's?
Sorry I seem to be spamming Yahoo today but, how do I get several dedicated IP's to one server/PC.
I'm trying to host a couple of online servers for games, with a dedicated box.
Is it anything realated to my ISP or my OS? Please help... (Real Noobish @ Servers)
several dedicated IPs - your ISP will have to supply them to you. if you're router is set up correctly, you shouldn't have a problem routing traffic to a single server.
How to name my own nameservers?
I have 2 servers at my homeoffice, both connected to a router with internal IPs, router is connected to RoadRunner business line with 1 dedicated/static IP. Both of my servers have the MS DNS server installed. How can I assign them their own nameserver names so that I can start using them for hosting websites? I am currently using the registarar's name servers to point my clients' websites to my IP however I would like to see how i can have my own name servers. Thank you,
Don't use your internal DNS servers for external DNS resolution!
First off, that exposes your internal network to attack directly from the Internet.
Secondly, if you host your own DNS, you'll need 2 public IP addresses to set up 2 DNS servers; you must have at least 2 different DNS servers for every domain that you host. For redundancy reasons these need to be on separate IP subnets so you'll need to get another business broadband account from another ISP to be properly redundant.
Trust me, you DON'T want to do this!
