My hosting company set "ns2.myhostingcompany.com" as primery DNS to my website. Is it correct? (Now, my control panel shows as below:
Primary: ns2.myhostingcompany.com
Secondary: ns1.myhostingcompany.com)
Or Do I change ns2 as Secondary (as shown below)?
Primary: ns1.myhostingcompany.com
Secondary: ns2.myhostingcompany.com
many advised that the above format is correct and to change it.
Changing or not changing will affect my site's performance/speed.....?
For your reference:
My site is under-construction. (And I hope a million visitors will visit.)
My web hosting account has unlimited bandwidth and storage.
It is dedicated.
I planned to host many sites with it.
I'm confused. Please help me.
Thanks in advance.
it doesn't matter.
Both will hold the same DNS details.
if the primary NS2 fails. NS1 will be used.
Nothing wrong.
They may be doing it to balance connections on both servers. IE: some people will have ns1 as the primary and some will have ns2.
eitherway. it really doesnt matter. Think of them both as the same server as they will both be identical.

If your own web hosting company tells you to use the DNS servers in a certain order... why would you assume it's incorrect?
Numbers in server names are just that: numbers. They don't mean anything other than a designation of the fact that they're different servers. If they say ns2 should be primary, then use ns2 as the primary.
There are reasons a web host tells people to use their name servers in a certain order; the primary being load balancing (a way to process all the IP requests coming in from the various internet servers). Using a processing order other than your host tells you to may result in less than optimal name resolutions - in which case you have no one to blame but yourself if the number of visitors you get is less than expected. ;-)
A company that owns servers knows better how to configure them than "many" other people who don't work for that company. In other words: there's no reason for confusion.
How to have a Lolita-themed tea party?
Some of my frineds and I are dedicated life style lolita-chans and ouji-sama, and we're planning on hosting a tea party, but we haven't had one yet..so I'm wondering if anyone knows some nice deserts, teas and such that can add to the Loli-theme?Also, where is an ideal place for a tea party?
Please, I want serious awnsers. Thanks.
When I had a tea party, I just had it in my living room. I would suggest the same thing for a simple tea party. If you have a set of nice china or silver, you should use it! If you use plain plates and such, that should be fine too, just don't use paper plates or something. I highly suggest having plenty of options for the tea. Have some plain black tea, and milk, honey, lemon, and sugar for your guests to put in it however they want, and maybe serve another type of tea as well. Herb teas like strawberry or peach tea would be nice. Finger food and maybe a salad is best top have at tea parties in my opinion. Some plain scones (or maybe not so plain) and muffins and fresh fruit would be nice. If you have scones or muffins, you may want to put some butter out for the people who choose to use it.
