You could do one for your favorite book, movie or TV show, with a page giving a review of it, a page about the characters, a page about the author/screenwriter, a page about the actors (for movie or TV), a page of links to other websites about it. Similar idea: Do one about your favorite band. Do one about your city or town or school.

huge companies run their own servers, and yes you to can make your computer into a server, but it has to run all the time and it has to have internet connection all the time or people cant access your pages. you can try apache software which is a free webserver software (and currently the best, its used by 60% of all webservers), but actually configuring it is very compilicated. and you need to have good webmaster skills.

I have started school in India Little Angels Junior School in Karaikal, India. I am looking for someone create website for the school. This could be nice project for a college student. Right now just basic site but I would like to have news and update frontend and in admin(where Person from India can give update news about the school, add photo, in front it will give pictures) and donation ecommerce where you can do on and off in the backend. well, you can make your own websites by like freewebs.com and there are a bunch of others if you just look up free website creators on google or something but i dont think that there is a website that you can add your custom made layouts onto and sell them

If you have Dreamweaver, then you probably have Photoshop. Use the Photo Gallery option to set up the slide show and then smooth it out in Dreamweaver
