Hosting for fansite.?
Currently I'm running out of 1GB of space (due to media) with the free fansite host I'm with now. The 1GB is not enough for my site, & its not even half-way completed. Is there a good, reliable web host that offers atleast 15 GB (or more) of space, enough bandwith, & cpanel? Or a host that offers unmetered space & bandwith, if that even exists?

Free Web Hosting?
I am looking for a good free web host. I would liek it to have email, subdomains, and unobtrusive ads (for instance, foot banners, textlinks or no ads). I don't want to have to go through forum posting and applying, I would like a good, free web host. I have tried GeoCities (the site builder would not work), Gigahive (they stuffed me around), Bravenet (I've cnacelled my email subscription two times now and I still get email from them) and phpnet.us (used cpanel, which is just plain annoying), Google Pages (nice, but not enoguh formatting things) and Freewebs (insufficent space and too many hoops to jump through). As you can tell, I am very picky. I would like to avoid cpanel at all costs, because it is slow and painful. A basic web editor would be nice. how do I put a website builder for my site?
I have a web host but I am waiting forever for them to send me a website builder. All I have been given is a Cpanel and that's it. I know I can find a free one to download on the internet but how do I get the templates to my website. My host has left me completely in the dark. The thing that makes me mad is I paid a lot of money to use them as a host, yet a free host would have been so much easier to use. Why is that? You would think that when you pay someone for service that they would be more helpful than a free web host would be. Anyway, don't go with Host Gator. Use their affiliate program, it pays good but they have not been a good host to me. I'm still having billing issues with them as well.

I think doing your site as an individual site is better as it will have your own look. Using a template means that someone else may use the same template and you lose some of your individual character. Ok there are a million sites out there and the chances of running across the same is small..... but you never know.
