How can i remove stored passwords (BUT NOT IN FORMS) in Internet Explorer 7 ?
Hi, am talking about removing the passwords saved when entering a password protected site like CPANEL in our server, the saved password in the little window that appears, i try already this method: http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index.php?qid=20070420010938AAgJdQP This only deletes the saved password on forms. Thanks.

Try this, Click on the tools tab top right of screen, Click on properties then on content, In the auto complete section click settings, Uncheck the box which says user names and passwords on forms,Click OK, Then click the general tab and under browsing history click delete, then click delete all then ok, wait a couple of minutes while IE7 completes the task and all your form data stored on your computer will be deleted and auto complete for passwords and usernames will no longer be happening. If it is still happening on an individual web site after that then contact the owners of the site to have their auto complete settings changed for you. Hope This Helps...

How can i be receiving spam already?
Well i have just literally an hour ago went into my web hosting CPanel and add a new email account sales@mywebsitename.com and configured with outlook express. I clicked on recieve email before and guess what? I recieve 2 emails, one saying Prices of OEM Windows and another offering me viagra. How did they get my email already? Also how can you block spammers when the spammers use random email addresses, i.e. sgfsfsf@shfdsg.com

I don't really think theres a way to stop receiving spam. I have five different e-mail, one of them I only give to my college professors for assignment related matters and I still get spam.

How do I unban my IP from my site?
After failed login attempts, I've been IP banned from my own site. I can only access my site through proxy browsers or someone else's wireless connection. I tried to flush the DNS and use Command Prompts on the main computer with the modem/router to renew my IP address, and I still have no luck getting back into my site. Also while on someone else's connection, I did not find any IP addresses listed my site's IP Deny Manager. Is there any other way I can get back into my site before resorting to my ISP and asking them to change my IP for me? I don't want to leech off of someone else's connection and can't trust proxy browsers. I'd contact my friend providing me this site but the only way to contact him is through his site that's on the same server. As you guessed, I can't contact him because of the ban as well. Other Details: I have Windows Vista, everyone else can access my site, same result regardless of browser, not a firewall issue, and my site is managed in CPanel. I cannot contact the person hosting my site so I can't ask where it's hosted. I'm not going to use a proxy. I cannot log into the admin account.

Website? So who hosts this site? Do you have an admin login account? Might need to contact the fellas hosting your site and have them remove the ban, at least that is how its normally done.

WordPress Question, Please?
Can someone answer this about WordPress? I'm trying to upload a new theme and I have cPanel. The instructions say: "In cPanel File Manager, navigate to your themes folder. If you have WordPress installed in it's own folder called wordpress, you would navigate to "public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes... and if WordPress is installed in your web-root folder you would navigate to "public_html/wp-content/themes." I can go into File Manager fine, but I don't see this. I see a "public_html" folder, but nothing under it. The "public html" appears in the right window, but there's nothing that I can find to click on to open it. Please advise, thanks!

Im using a laptop with Windows XP. I know laptop and Windows XP or my webhost is not the case cause I can still acces my cPanel from a diffrent computer with WIndows. I checked my firewall and its it seems pretty normal. It's on standard mode. I tried logging in a different browsers but I still can'y log-on. Please help me with this matter. I appreciate any help or response. A Helpful response will recieve 10 points. I can connect to internet. Internet is not the problem. I don't recieve any errors. As I said, I can access my cPanel from another computer bu not on my own computer. When I log-on i typed in the right username and password but i hit enter I dont see my cPanel. Instead the browser is loading for minutes and seems like nothing happened.

Why doesn't my password work? Try these troubleshooting steps: Set your Caps Lock key correctly. Your AT&T Yahoo! Dial or High Speed Internet password is case sensitive: "PASSWORD," "PaSsWoRd," and "password" are not equivalent. Keep this in mind when entering your password. Delete your cookies. If cookies aren't accepted correctly by your browser, you may be logged out of email home page as soon as you move to a different page. This may block your current ability to sign in or stay signed in. Clear your browser's cache. The cache is the memory your browser uses to store the content of the Web pages you visit. Storing that content lets your browser load those same pages more quickly the next time you visit them. If you're still having problems, find out how you can request a new password. What should I do if I forget my password? There are several steps to take if you believe you have forgotten your password: 1. Ensure you typed the correct password. Remember, passwords are case sensitive. 2. Make sure Caps Lock is not enabled on your keyboard. 3. Was the Member ID entered correctly? Make sure you have entered your Member ID and domain which is the same as your full email address. 4. Ensure cookies are enabled. 5. After two unsuccessful attempts, open a new browser window such as Internet Explorer and try again. Why isn't my password working? There are several reasons you may be getting the "Invalid Password" or "Invalid ID" error message. The most common reasons are: Passwords are case-sensitive, meaning that "PASSWORD," "PaSsWoRd," and "password" are not equivalent, so make sure your Caps Lock key is properly set. Do not add the "@yahoo.com" to your ID when signing in. If you have recently requested a new password, wait 24 hours before attempting to log back in to your account. This will allow your account to update. The other possibility is that there is a problem setting your "user cookie." A cookie is a small piece of information stored by your browser to help identify you. If your cookie is not being accepted correctly, you will be logged out of your account as soon as you move to a different page. This may be what is preventing you from logging in or staying logged in as you move from page to page on our web site. Try shutting all of your browser Windows, then find and delete the cookie files in your browser's directories located on your hard drive. Usually, these files are called "cookies." Be sure that you have selected the proper files before deleting.

(i mean recover, not change, delete, or modify) ive tried loginrecovery.com and it works wonders, but it takes too long. is there a faster way to do it? btw i have physical access to the comp that i need the password for

I flushed my cache and now I'm having problems?
I was unable to log into my hosting sites cpanel and received advice that I should flush my cache. I did, then I re-started my pc only to find the blue screen of death. this happened several times, but was eventually ok and I was able to log into cpanel again. However, the problem came back today and I flushed my cache again. Now within 5 to 10 minutes of starting up, I get the Blue screen of death again. Everytime. I am now using windows on my D drive, but want C working again. I get various fault messages but I never have enough time to read them because the pc goes off, but one of them says something about something trying to run a process it does not own, another one says something about a file, referenced, and a number. Similar to these two numbers: 86e0b2d8ba47f1c57a8bb51157fb1c and..... fe463b1bb2a0d07953495e76b7b4fb. Questions: 1. What are these numbers? 2. Was my problem caused by flushing my cache? 3. Why is it doing this 4. Help !!!!! Also, two curiosities. My pc seems to 'make' these files, what are they? And why does my cpanel host reccomend using firefox? I know that with ie, I get pop behind ads, and in firefox I don't. But what happens to the ads then ?? Thank you insane, at least we have one thing in common! Yes it was a lot of Q's eh? Anyway, I followed instructions from my hosting company and flushed the DNS Cache. I did run a virus check and spybot came up with several Trojans, but got closed down before he could clobber them, and didn't find them in safe mode. I can't get spybot to work on drive C whilst operating on drive D or it may have been an alternative. I will check out your forum. I also have an awesome looking forum, It's actually an access portal with forum, but I do not have any awesome forummers at the moment, as I have not yet started it up, but I will be sure to invite you when I do! (You're welcome to a sneak preview, www.cracklesnap.cashclimbers.com) That site you gave me shows a pic of the exact same error message I have had on a number of occasions.
