Counter Strike Servers

Can someone please post some servers of counter strike servers that dont require steam?
I need a list of steamless servers for counter strike source.. Anywhere around the world. First person to post over 10 working server IP adresses gets 10 points :)

never heard of such a thing.in order to join a server you must have CS and to have CS you must have steam.

Hi, I want to start a multiple network of counter strike servers. What do I need to do so. Specifically.?
I have fast connection. Just want to know how to set up multiple ip's for a bunch of counter strike servers. If I buy a crappy computer with tons of ram and a good connection, I can run multiple servers off it? How? I know how to run 1. But I want at least 4. You'll need a dedicated computer to run as a server. It could be a Windows or Linux computer. If you want your server to run smoothly you'll need a pretty decent processor and a lot of RAM. Can only spectate Counter strike servers?
I installed Counter strike and when I went to play I could only play on one server and could only spectate all the others. Anyone know the problem. Like to I have to register for their servers?

No, you don't have to register to any servers unless it is required before you join a server. The problem is that you are either: *Joining a Spectator Game (Spec tab) *Did not choose a team ("M") *The teams are full or maximum spawn sites full. You can play if you go to the INTERNET tab and find some servers and join and enjoy.... OR You can add some off your favorite servers in the FAVORITES tab.

How do I find Counter-Strike servers where I can play with only the downloaded copy of the game?
Do I have to install additional files aside from the CS 1.6 executable file? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Every time I select a team (either Terrorist or CT) and a uniform/model, I end up in the server selection area. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Please help.

You may have to use steam to go online other than that i dont know what your doing wrong.

Counter Strike is free to play if you have the no-steam version, just search in google for a server near your location(that would reduce the lag), and about star wars galaxies, the emulators are still in progress, there are test servers but they are not enough stable yet.

I have a new headhphones/Mic, and after I connect it to USB, does it work automatically? How do I use it without teamspeak? (Like in regular counter strike servers without teamspeak, teamspeak is a seperate program). Thanks

you need to download vent its an addon just google it asnd download u can get it free when you download just save it to the addon folder of your counter strike thing and it should be on there. At least tht is how it works on world of warcraft for me!!!!

Right now on my laptop i cant join many Counter Strike Source servers i guess because they are too complex?
i can join some servers with simple maps but only a few. i really like zombie servers but i can never join them. the same with most other servers. i have 222 gHz RAM and i plan to upgrade that to either 512 or 1 gB RAM. would this fix my problem? what else could i do to fix the problem? could it be my video card or processor? thanks!

In my experince unless it was specificly designed for gaming, laptops are going to have mixed results with gaming. Most likely it will be a major factor in gaming.

Steam itself has a "find server" tab, but there are also alternatives. I use HLSW (google it) you put the url of the server into the top and it shows a list of who's playing, what map is being played, map time is left, etc. You then hit the connect button and you're in. Counter strike also has many mods, all of which offer different types of gameplay. try FaNg for a variety of servers running different mods for both counter strike and counter strike source.
