I formated my PC (microsoft XP home editon) but now Icouldn't find control panel. please tell me how I can find a control panel again thanks.

How do you reset a digital control panel for the air conditioning/ heating system?
Our control panel seems to be "dead". We checked all the breakers and they are fine, but we cannot adjust the AC because the control panel in the house is not working.....Does anyone know if we can reset this??? or what may be wrong? The panel in the house is a Bryant.

I bet it's either battery powered or you have a bad control fuse or transformer in the indoor unit.

How to restore control panel in start menu?
There is no control panel in start menu.I am unable to uninstal few softwares.please help.

Right click on your TOOLBAR and select properties. Goto the Start Menu tab. Hit customize. Goto the advanced tab. The first thing it should say in the scroll menu is Control panel: 1.Display as link 2. Display as menu 3. Don't display Don't display will probably be checked. Check 'Display as link' Chip D:: obviously it is not there. If it was this person would not be asking. Your just trying to et points. You've posted crappy answers on everyother Computer question today, and I'm sure you have misled people.Give it up.

How can you get to the control panel without the start button? Can it be done?
I need to remove and add programs but I can't get to the control panel without the start prompter.

if u hav winXP open my computer. at the right near the top it will say add or remove programs. u can also click change a setting and that will open up the control panel itself.

Problems with electronic climate control panel in 92 GMC suburban?
I have a 92 GMC suburban, that has an electronic ac / heater control panel. It will not switch between blowing the air through the vents or floor, and the part of the display that shows where the air is blowing flashes. I have tried resetting it by disconnecting the battery, but still happens. Is the control panel going bad, or is there a problem with the air flaps / switches that actually change where the air goes? A new panel is $200 and do not want to buy one just to find out I still have the same problem. Thanks

Only a dealer or a good shop can do this--they will troubleshoot the issue and give you an estimate--92??? That stuff does go bad and it is your turn.

can the plastic cover of the control panel on a stove can be replaced?
i have a black kenmore stove and my dumb self sprayed easy-off on the plastic cover of the control panel and when i went to clean it, along with the grease that came off, so did the color!!! now it is a faded black instead of a glossy black. nothing happened to the control panel, thank God. i wanted to now if i can order that part and just replace it, instead of having to look at my 5-month old stove, like its 10 YEARS old. please help!! if it can be replaced, i don't know were to start looking for the replacement.

Remove the knobs and mask off the areas you don,t want painted. Then buy some high gloss black appliance spray paint. It will look like new. Of course you will have to prepare the area to be painted properly first. Lightly sand it with fine steel wool. I think you will be surprised how good it looks. Most hardware sell appliance paint. If you must replace it go to sears and order another one . Kenmore is sold at sears.

My control panel is missing and i am no longer the computer administrator. How can i get it back?
There were two computer admins. and neither of us can access the control panel. We both get the contact admin msg. I've tried things i found on the net but they dont work. The run command is also missing. All our computer admin privileges are gone.

only suggestion would be doing a restore, to a point where things were OK. Sound very much like a virus however, so make sure you do a complete scan first.

How do i get a Control panel on my laptop?
when i go to start there is No Control panel how do i get one. is there like a Code or Software i can use. and what if i have no Run on my start thingy to. oh and another thing is when i click tools and then click internet options it dont work. oh also the thing where you right click on start and click on properties and all that doesnt work . It would help us if we knew you're OS. What happens when you (Right Click) on My Computer then pick Explore? Do you see it then?

You could try through safe mode. Restart your computer, and when it's booting (before the Windows screen comes up) keep pressing the F8 key. This should present a boot menu. Choose to start Windows in safe mode. Hopefully you'll be able to accomplish what you need to from there.

How do I build and put together a mame control panel?

Hey John, Good for you building your own CP. I can give you this information "Use good quality controls" cheep ones break fast and dont feel like the ones on the real arcades. Make the CP solid and strong. Make the CP have some what easy access for repairs and tweaking. You might want to add a button for adding credits and one for ESC.
