Cheapest Dedicated Servers

How to go about making this network?!?
Ok so check this network out... The budget is $800,000! A main office with 240 desktops, thinking of going with thin clients to be cheap. 5 divisions -- Marketing, Sales, Shipping/Receiving, Research, and Managers... 10 sales reps will be out of the office everyday Then 3 satellite offices... 1 with 60 users, 1 with 100, and the last with 50. The first one has to be done with token ring and ethernet, 2nd with ethernet with linux and MS, and the third token ring and ethernet. The main office will communicate with the other three and those three will communicate with each other as well. Each division has to have a dedicated file server and whatever other servers each one needs and each site has to have a dedicated server as well. The Sales reps will need connections to communicate back to the main office. It will be a mix of 10/100 Mbps... and finally Video conferencing is going to be implemented later.. Now heres the question... I need to diagram the whole thing. Is there any free diagramming software or online diagram builders that I can use?

all that typing to find documentation software? Ok! Try microsoft Visio its pretty good. Not free of course, but if your budget is 800k, its worth the 100 bucks for visio.

Need help with ISP...?
How does networks work.....? Ok I have a huge problem. I Have my own webserver, domain name server, and paid for a domain name well 2 I am currently making 2 websites. I have my own servers. I recently got my mail server to work but being blocked by well known isps like hotmail, aol ect. I e-mailed my isp if I can relay my outgoing mail through their mail servers they replied no. Also they said there policy is that I can't run any server services using their network connection. IS there any U.S ISP that would sell you a dedicated line backbone internet a static ip?? I am seeking a Internet backbone connection. I found some wholesale stuff where I can become an ISP but when I contacted them they give me different story. They never tell how much it will cost to provide internet to users. Is there any way I can pay for a fast, and high bandwith to some netowrk provider that would be cheap and have no restrictions?

Get the servers co-located in a datacenter near you or your customer base.

Homemade computer/homemade "server"(calculator/storage unit)? Can it be done for < $150?
Intro: I know a little about programming/software and computer hardware. I know almost nothing about networking. My situation: I only recently discovered the concept of 'distributed computing'. I'm a college kid, so I'm low on cash, and am pretty much always maxing out my laptop's CPU, but I think it'd be a fun (and a cool sort of charity/volunteer work) project to build a machine dedicated to just running 2 or 3 of them at a time 24/7. What I'm thinking: To fulfill my goal, I need a machine with decent computing power and RAM. I need minimal graphics/no soundcard (most of the time it should run w/o a monitor) What I have: I have access to free Win XP (legally, through my school) and, obviously Ubuntu (*nix) Op.Systems I can get a free ATX box (I trust the power supply and 1 big case fan) keyboard/mouse/monitor will be borrowed from my PC as needed So: Motherboard/CPU suggestions? where to find cheap/free parts? Any other ideas/comments/suggestions would be appreciated! Intro: I know a little about programming/software and computer hardware. I know almost nothing about networking. you can get decent sized hdd for next to nothing these days...especially if they are slower. Also, you would be able to get a micro-atx board with onboard video for quite cheap. Make sure it supports ddr2 as ddr is more expensive these days. For cpu, maybe an older amd socket 939? For what you want...it should be more than enough power as long as you can one for a decent price.
