Cheap Shared Hosting
How can we rent the hosting in USA from Vietnam?
I live in Vietnam. I plan to open a website. It's said that hosting service from USA server supplier is more cheaper than hosting fee in VN. Can you share with me the cost of hosting in USA and other countries to help me explore the good hosting supplier? If I use the hosting from USA supplier, how can I pay for them? Can you update me the pros and cons of using hosting from other countries?
I have tried couple of them. Proabaly you can try the following
www.verio.com(Little expensive)
www.netandhost.com (Cheaper and reliable)
You can do online registration and activate your site instantly. I am using both the companies for hosting my clients website. I live in Australia and using the US and Indian companies for my hosting needs.
Cheapest hosting website which provides free domain and i need yearly plans only?
Cheapest hosting website which provides free domain and i need yearly plans only for
a 100 mb website..
1gb or more bandwidth
php support...5 sub domains
ftp
unlimited email accounts
apache or joomla suppoted
and non shared servers...if shared less than 10 websites only!!!
Your demands doesn't make sense at all.
All you need is 100mb space, and 1 GB bandwidth, but still you want a dedicated server ? which will cost you $100+ each month ?
Just cause you get shared hosting does not mean it's slow.
If you had issues with shared hosting being slow, it's cause the company oversell.
There are alot of really bad hosting company's out there. Use a popper one like Bluehost or Godaddy and you won't have those problems with shared hosting.

Blogging & Websites- registering a few domains/ hosting?
Hello!
I'd welcome a little advice...
I'd like to start blogging and also combine this with building a website, or two.
I need to register a few domain names first.
- Is it possible (adviseable) to register different domain names with different companies (e.g. ".co.uk" names are cheaper with one company, while ".com" names are cheaper with another)?
I then need to find a hosting service. This could possibly be with one of the domain name registrars above.
- Can a few domain names be hosted in one hosting account (sharing the overall storage, bandwidth etc) or would I have to buy separate hosting accounts for each individual domain name?
I'm considering developing a mix of general blogs and an "About Me" website with a more personal blog. I might want to interconnect the blogs and websites, when appropriate.
- When assembling the blogs and websites, is it possible/ easy to interlink parts of them on a hosting account(s)?
Thank you in advance.
Scotty
Hi!
You can register different domain names with different companies. It doesn't matter, other than that you have to keep your data on two (or more) separate accounts. (keep track of user names, passwords, credit card numbers...) When you register a domain name you just point the dns to your hosting company, and upload your files. I don't recommend using domain registrars for hosting because it's usually just a side job for most. I host a couple of my sites on Dreamhost and they are great so far. They have 500GB Disk Storage, 5TB Monthly Bandwidth and unlimited Domain hosting for $119.40 ($9.95/month). But you can use the promo code: DNA to get the $50 discount (it's the maximum discount), which brings price down to $69.40 ($5.78/month). You also get a free domain name so you just have to register the additional co.uk domain. Hosting multiple sites on them is very easy, you can set an additional website in just a couple of seconds. Yeah, one more thing, disk storage and bandwidth increases all the time, not just for new customers but for current customers also. For some more details on their hosting plan check:

Study cheap in UK. Is it possible?
I want to study in UK by next year (A levels). But the living cost is quite expensive. Is there any other option of cheap living than to live in a host family? For example to share a flat with other students. Btw I am already 18. Thank you guys
Of course you can share a flat. There are also student residence halls in many cities, which are independent of universities, which you could live in.
You can also focus on the less expensive areas of the UK. London, for example, is hugely expensive, but other areas of the UK are less so, and that can help. Cardiff, for example, is a fun and funky city, and yes it's expensive compared to a lot of the world, but it's far less expensive than London.

can you help please about website design, domain, hosting & money making?
I've designed a website.Wanna know what to do step by step? 1-tell me about domain,hosting- 2-How much is the cheapest total price/year to get my site on the web with a.com like end address-a comparisson list of service providers 3-how can i make money with my web site & also about web privacy and security- how much is personal identity kept and not shared to other party w/o my consent by my service provider (thanks in advance for your help)
1. A domain is your .com (for example address). DO NOT get your hosting with godaddy, network solutions, hostgator, or any other "big" provider - the telephone wait times are 30-40 minutes, and you'll get nowhere if you have problems. http://www.DependableHost.net is BY FAR the best host that I've ever come across. Support tickets answered within minutes - not hours or days!
2. Cheaper is NOT always better. You get what you pay for. A host offering 500 GB storage, and unlimited transfer is BS'ing you. You wont even get to 1% of what you're given - guaranteed! They use big numbers to make it look anticing, but you're not goint to scratch the surface. http://www.DependableHost.net offers hosting for $3.99/month (if you do annual billing). You can get a free domain name with them as well!
3. This depends on what your website is offering. You can use adwords, and be paid per click on your website. Also - join the affiliate program that DependableHost.net offers, and you'll be paid commission from every referral as a result of your link from your website. If someone that you refer gets an affiliate account - you'll also get 25% of THEIR commission!
3.5 - DependableHost.net has a strict privacy policy that they follow. I don't get any spam from them, and I've always been very satisfied. The tech's at DependableHost are always watching the servers 24x7x365 for security issues, server performance, and DoS attacks. They are on top of things!
They have 30-day moneyback guarantee - give them a shot - you'll be impressed!

You can register domain name, it will cost you around $8 per year. Normally everyone will come to know about your identity when you will register a domain name. If you do not want other to know about you, then register your domain as Private Registration for additional charge of $5.00 per year.
Hosting you can get for around $43 per year.
To make money on website normally people sell some products or provide services on Internet. If you have products then you can sell them on Internet. If you don't have products then you can become a reseller and sell products.
Is it my web host?
I purchased a domain from godaddy.com and got free hosting out of it. I had trouble using thier web building tools so i decided to make my 4 page site in MS publisher. I'm still having trouble. First it displayed all scrambled. Now it's not displaying at all. I checked my permissions, IIS settings and so forth. Is it me or do i just have a poor hosting privider? Are there better hosts out there for cheap? It can't be a shared domain host like freepages because it's for a small business site with my own domain. any info would help!

Any recommendations on some really good book review websites for books on the stock market?
I am thinking of buying a load of books on the stock market i.e. how the stock market can help me make money. I have browsed through a few websites and the prices are not looking cheap, lol. Most of the books on stock/shares are very much repeating what other authors are syaing. I want a website that can give me a stage by stage (i.e. beginners, intermediate, expert level) of reading and learning. I am not entirely sure on putting my money on seminars or programmes that are hosted by people who think they know how to play the game just yet.
Note 1: I am not looking for books on economic theory - i am going to do a post grad qualification and a masters on it; I want something more personal - more of a book on personal experiences.
Note 2: If possible, I would like a list of websites that shows book reviews on shorting shares
Amazon has a very complete list of books on investing and the stock market complete with reader reviews.
