What is the cheapest place to buy domains for redirect?
I believe they all can be setup to redirect...
Cheapest.. http://domains.yahoo.com $1.99
I have looked into getting a domain.. The best place I found was...
http://www.1and1.com $5.99
Why? If you register with Yahoo.. Your registrar info is made public.. So your name.. Street address.. City is all made public.. (Opens you to Spam and Idenity Theft).. Unless you pay the extra fee of $8 some to hide it.. If that is not a bother go to Yahoo!
But if that's a concern check out 1and1.. They offer free private domain registering.. That's what I picked... GL

If I wanna have a website and I buy a domain do I have to buy other domains for sub categories of the site?
For Example If I buy www.treasurehunter.com and I want another page about equipment and its called www.treasurehunter.com/equipment.html or whatever do I have to buy that subsite.
No you dont have any buy anything once you buy a domain.. you can just keep using the domain you bought and keep adding another page into the ftp.. like you said equipment.html transfer that file through ftp. You need to have a host that gives you the ftp access, allows you to upload the files. Also you have to point the domain you buy to your host so that whenever you upload a file through ftp on your host, lets say.. you uploaded a file through ftp equipment.html, and so when you type in your domain treasurehunter.com it will show you some option and equipment.html will be one of them. If you need more help contact me cena734@yahoo.ca
Do you know where can i buy like 10 domains for a better price?
I dont want to pay 6 -10 dls for each domain.
try godaddy.com?
Anyone heard of TGN consulting? they buy up domains as investments for clients?
I need to find out if they are legit as they have made an offer on one of my websites
They look legit, tiny, but legit.
Make them a counter offer and ask for a rediculously higher price, see what happens.
It it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Where should i buy domains or TLD top level domains like .com from?
Where should i buy domains or TLD top level domains like .com from? I'm trying to buy direct so i know i won't have to pay a ton of money if i make a site and want to renew. I also want to try to buy it for like 100 years or the maximum limit. I also know domain forwarding is only to your ip address of where you host the site. So no need to give extra info :)
I like GoDaddy.
Do Not Purchase from RegisterFly!
They are in the middle of a huge and messy lawsuit (http://registerflies.com/)

What is the best way to buy and create a website?
I want to make a website for my artwork. I want to promote myself as an artist and sell some of my work on there.
What is the best site to buy domains from and how to I get my site up and running?
Currently Web.com is the best site I've seen to start up a package.
You will find your best way as you continue in your research of many options. I would encourage you to look at several options before getting involved. Web.com may or may not be your best of choices. The start up fees and the monthly hosting is competitive. In order to drive traffic to your site, you will have to commit to much more fees of service. There is nothing wrong with that, so long as you know your expectations. As you compare hosts I would recommend that you compare features first. This will help you to eliminate the ones that do not have what you are looking for. Second compare prices. This will help you get the most value for your money. I must say that there are many great options out there. The person above eluded to Site Build It. I personally use that myself. It is a great program from SiteSell. You may want to check them out as one of your options in hosting at http://www.tobuildyour.com They also have a great tutorial video on their site that helps to explain the important structuring of a successful website. You may also visit a comparison page at http://compare.sitesell.com/UnstoppableDreams.html
I would be more then happy to share my experiences with them. You can see an example through my own website. I have a link in my profile page here at Yahoo Answers.
It is great that you are doing research. It is most important that you find the best fit for you. I compare it to going out and getting new clothes. You have to shop around to get the best fit for you. The more you shop around the better the fit and the more value for your money.
BEST WISHES!
