Business Company Hosting Small Web
Ive just finished my first website for a small business what do i do next?
Do i register it in my name or the companies name. Also do i add the cost of the web hosting into the price or do the company take it over. How do i get it on the search engines like google
If it isn't for you, then register it in the company name. Web hosting is ongoing so I always have my clients sign up on their own. It automatically will get indexed in search engines but there are things you can do to help better the position such as adding meta tags, robot refresh rates, and make sure the content of your site is robust and pertinent to those keywords you want.

Simple Mail Server for Yahoo Mail POP?
Hi, I am in charge of IT for a small business. We currently use one @yahoo.com address and have our company website with yahoo Business Web Hosting. We receive all e-mail sent to the @yahoo.com address and our companyname.com address in to one mail box on the mail.yahoo.com web site.
We love the mail.yahoo.com system. However, we are expanding and we need to have a server based systrem.
We are looking for a e-mail server software where all e-mails will be delivered and shared from using Outlook and also provide us the ability to access the e-mail on the web.
Anyone have any ideas?
I have tried some third party software like SoftTalk and OLFolders, and have had no luck in getting it to work with Yahoo Mail…
You will be hard pressed to find a network email server that will interface with an external POP3 server also.
Sorry....
You can always have your yahoo mail forwarded to a new email address on your new server.
Can I create my own web page & publish it for free?
Okay, so I have BLUE-VODA which I downloaded for free of the internet. I already created my web page & now Im trying to publish it... so it can be oficially ONLINE. It says I have to pay for hosting? I just started my small business, I dont understand this creating a web page deal.. Lets face it Im old. Can I do this for free? or how do I host it? Does a company "host" it for it to be online? HOW ? HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!
There are many free ones with differing quality.
Many free ones add advertisements to your website.
If you want a .com you'll have to pay for that too, unless it comes with your hosting. (Hosting is the space where you can put your website)
I use http://www.hostmonsterplus.com they have everything and a free domain ( .com ). And they're not too expensive. (They're who I use)
So if you want quality you probably will need to pay a little. Otherwise just Google for free internet space.
