How much Hosting Bandwidth Do I Need?
I have a website that allows users to login and vote for certain stuff, no downloading. Im guessing 100,000 visitors a day. I need to figure out how much monthly bandwidth I should get for my hosting plan.

How much is 100MB of disk space and 10GB bandwidth in terms of hosting visitors to my website?
I bought a year of hosting for my website. It includes 100MB of disk space and 10GB of bandwidth. When should I upgrade the hosting package to something more substantial(like how many hits, visits per day, or hour , etc.). Thank you. ok, so i just switched my hosting to 000webhost.com and they are giving me 1500MB and 100GB for free.

You sure it didn't come with 100 GB instead of MB? If not, then I'd cancel right away and get your money back. Most providers allow you to cancel within 30 days and still get your money back. There are several web hosting services that will give you 100s of gigs of space and almost unlimited bandwidth for only 6 or 7 bucks a month (Lunarpages, Hostmonster, Dotster, BlueHost, etc to name a few).

How to limit individual connection's bandwidth to a file hosting website?
I run a file hosting website built using asp.net technology. I want to know what tool I can use to put a limite on individual connection's bandwidth, For example like 100KB/sec. There doesn't seem to be an existing solution in .net In fact, I want available bandwidth to be equally shared among open connections, but the system don't seem to do that automatically. Even if you can limit the bandwidth, the Uploading ISP may not utilise the 100 KB/sec set by you. Check at www.auditmypc.com your servers upload/download data. Other websites also available.

I'm buying some space from a hosting company. One option says bandwidth of 15 GB, the other option says 25 GB?
Does it mean that when internet users are viewing my site, the option with 25 GB will be loaded faster? Speed is my concern. Is 25 GB is a lot faster than 15 GB?

No, bandwidth is the amount of transfer. Like if your page is 200 KB, and if each visitor to your site visits 5 pages on average, it's 1 MB of bandwidth. So, if you have 25 GB (25000 MB) of bandwidth it would be enough for 25000 visits per month. It's rare for a host to offer just 25 GB of bandwidth but it's probably OK if the price is less than $3/month. If it's more, check one of these hosts: 1. What is image hosting/bandwidth?
My MySpace is being costumized by a web designer; he asked if I have any way to host images, yet, not certain what he means, exactly? What is bandwidth, as well? I'd appreciate a solid response, thank you. :)

He mean are your images hosted on a website other than myspace or do you have a way to host them as such. He most likely means on a personal website but I'm sure a photobucket account would suffice. As for bandwidth, Merriam-Webster defines it as: the capacity for data transfer of an electronic communications system. But in, what I hope to be, simpler terms, think about your website being a building. The more bandwidth you have, the bigger door you have. And when you have a lot of people come to your website but not a lot of bandwidth, that door gets full people and others can't get through. When a site has a rush of people and the bandwidth is reached, thats like saying too many people tried to fit though the door at one time and not all of them could fit so they had to shut down the site. Hopefully that was clear enough!
