I need a free website hosting site that supports ASP.NET (2.0) websites/applications.
I found one, but my site uses MS SQL, and that site won't allow that in their free package. I'm either looking for a site that does, or I have a different question:
I've created a site in Visual Studio 2005 using the template it came with to base my site on. It uses MS SQL; is there any way to remove that dependency, or use an access database, or something? Even if someone could tell me what the database does, it would be very helpful.

Hello guys,
I am looking for the best asp.net 3.5 hosting provider.
I am building my websites using visual studio 2008, and my old hosting plan doens't support .netFramework 3.5 unfortunately, so I should buy a new one.
Also the hosting has to support AJAX too (if many versions included it'll be great).
I know about discountasp.net , I like their services, but the storage is very low (only 1000 MB) .
So please if you know a good site that fits my needs, post it to me and I'll be more than thanksful.

There are a lot of sites out there. If you are looking for Free Hosting, good luck. But for cheap solutions, I've heard good things about http://www.DiscountASP.NET . They are recommended by Microsoft.

Hosting Requirments for ASP.NET 3.5 AJAX and Silverlight?
I'm developing a website with Visual Web Developer 2008 Express, using asp.net 3.5, ajax and silverlight. Also, I'll be needed database support, I think it's MS SQL that's used for Web Developer? What are all the requirments needed to run this website that I need to look for? Some hosting companies, for example say, IIS or XAML supported, but I don't know of I need those. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Also, I'm I too assume if it says it supports asp.net 3.5 that it will automatically support ajax and silverlight? Or does it actually have to say that it has support for ajax and silverlight?
