Its already done. Once the FTP transaction has finished, the file has been copied (or moved).

Wwebsite hosting service which allows seperate access to admin accounts & seperate access to site development?
I need a website hosting provider service which allows me to access both adminstrative & development areas of the website, and does not allow a website developer access to the adminstrative areas of the hosting account. I can do this by giving FTP access to the developer, but that way any features provided by the website hosting service (eg. website builder, live support links, CGI library, FrontPage Extensions, etc...) can't be used through the development interface by the developer.

Your webdeveloper only needs to know which services and extensions are available with the provider you choose to host your web-site. He/she needs only ftp to up-load the pages, databases, pictures and anything else you have thought of getting developed .

Are u sure?? You can try LINUX OS and Apache web server installed or If you want to spend more you can use windows NT and IIS 5 running machine. A quad processor net server with a T2 line is good choics. Buy a book on Apache Server and read the chapter on virtual hosting for Idea.

Why does it keep asking me for login password when I switch between mail accounts?
I have several mail accounts with Yahoo. When I switch accounts to read email from my other web hosting accounts, it keeps throwing me a login page asking for my password again. At first I thought this was just a security measure, but after I entered my password, it kept giving me the same login page.

What does it mean when you try to access an online riddle, and it says "Hosting Account Suspended"?
When I try to access the Logix Riddle, that message comes up. Does that mean the site is down because the host hasn't paid his fee? Or something else like that?

It could mean a couple of things, The site has been shut down by the hosting provider temporarily. This could be for many reason, bandwidth usage, database issues etc. Most of the time the webmaster will address the issue and the site is back up in a few hours. how do i connect to Mysql database from a local computer to a remote hosting account?
I need help with connecting to mysql database from a local computer to my hosting account's database. I need this feature so that i can extract data from my remote server as the data comes in, i intend to write a php script which will reside on the local computer and if refreshed, updates the local database with fresh records from the server. and if there is a better way to accomplish this task, Pls let me know about it. You'd connect to a remote server the same way you would connect locally. In PHP: mysql_connect("SERVERNAME", "USER", "PASS"); When you are connecting to a local mysql database, the servername would be "localhost". You want to change that to whatever server is hosting your mysql database. mysql.somehost.com, for example. mysql_connect("mysql.host.com", "myuser", "mypass"); After that, run your desired queries on the remote database the exact same way you'd query a local database.
